Move It or Lose It Check In 2/2-2/8/04

Congratulations on the weight loss! I did work out last night, I did Mix It Up and I can't remember why I disliked it so much before. I haven't exercised yet today - I plan on doing Tear It Up though and then Tone It Up tomorrow.

I haven't been weighing myself. Since it's that week and I know I tend to hold on to water weight, I didn't feel the need to torture myself with the actual number. As long as I keep eating the way I should I'll hopefully see the changes I want to see sooner than later.

I'm off to look for new shoes, again. I'm coming home with a pair this time, one that I won't have to take back, I hope!

Hey Randi,
I totally understand where you are coming from. I don't weight myself during that time either. Good luck with the shoe shopping. I did not get my late night workout in last night. I read instead....tee hee. Today I did SJP alternating sections from Timesaver Day 5 after the first hi/lo/lower body weight section. Then I did Timesaver Upper Body. The workout did not flow well and will not be one I do again unless I try it one more time to fine tune it. It took a lot of time to program the DVD player. Tomorrow I will do Imax 1 or 2 or 5 intervals from both. Then I will start a new rotation. I want to do more from the intensity series for a while with a few Body Blasts thrown in there. I will "talk" to you tomorrow!

Hi Angela,

I got two pairs of shoes yesterday - a pair of New Balance 609 (?) crosstrainers and a pair of Ryka Soulful running shoes. I just happened to stop by TJ Maxx and found them for $24.99 so I got them too. Rykas are almost always a sure fit for me and these are very comfortable. The NB are a little stiff but they'll be fine once I break them in.

Last night I did Tear It Up and I just finished Tone It Up. Tone It Up is my favorite of the entire series. It's tough and fun. Anyway, I'm trying to decide whether to do Cool It Off tomorrow (the stretching workout) or just to jump in with Shape It Up again. I have company coming on Saturday and have to get my workouts in for the week by then - I'll only have Sat. morning to exercise next weekend. I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

So, I had a good week even though I wasn't sure that I'd get in all 5 workouts but I did, and I didn't manage to get any extra cardio done. I'm going to get a new gym bag and will make it to the gym four times this week! That's my goal :). Maybe if I keep saying it I'll do it, LOL!
