Moment of Truth check in 8/25

Good Morning Everyone,
I am up super early today to get a run in before I go to work.Id rather be in bed but I have this misconception that I have to do things right as soon as I get up in the morning.If I don't, the whole day is a write off! If I get up in the morning and stick a candy in my mouth ( which is VERY possible) I feel as if the whole day is ruined and I will slide from there.
My worst fear came through yesterday. I was hoping to get these couple of pounds off before jeans time came but last night we had (yet another) outing and it was cold and damp so I had no choice but to pull my jeans out.Lets just say that thay have been more comfortable.It wasn't complete torture but these jeans use to losen up overtime and they didn't last night.And somewhow my motivation came from there. I wanted to do this but didn't have my all to get it yet until last night and that is why I am up so early to workout.With any luck I will get a weight workout in tonight.Or if the weather clears, prehaps I will get to go for a walk.
So thats about it for me. I am hoping to get 30 min on the threadmill, anything more will be a bonus.Im sort of low on time. I would like to be in the shower by 6:30.

Good Morning Lori. Hope you had a good run...and don't worry, those jeans will losen up on you soon enough! :)

I am up waaay to early myself. I woke up from a nightmare at about 4am this morning, then I had to pee, and after that my sleep was sparse. I only dozed off a few times for a couple of minutes until I finally gave up about 5:30am and got out of bed. I hate being up this early. x( I SHOULD take advantage of it though and exercise before I get Joey up around 8am but who knows if I will! lol

Today is circuit day with extra cardio and abs. I am going to try my Body Max creation today where I do the Power Circuits two times back to back and insert arm work instead of the leg work the 2nd time around. I'll have to go through and note all of the exercises, reps/sets and weights I want to do before I start though or goodness only knows what kind of work out I'll do! LOL I may continue with an IMAX 2 premix for my cardio. }(

Hey Kali---you should be awake! Get your bootie online and entertain me! :p

Lori don't fret over your jeans. Like you said it's given you some motivation. Stick with that. If you keep at it they'll be loose on you in no time! :)

Awwww Carol. No we won't get sick of you talking about her. My little guy starts Kindergarten next Wednesday! I can't believe how fast time goes. I'm SURE you Relate!

Holy Cow! I was very surprised to see so many check ins this early.Im sorry that everyone was up so early....but am I alittle glad I am not all by myself.

Wendy-Its to bad we don't out grow nightmares.I still have them sometimes to.Normally I will force myself to have happy thoughts and eventually I drift off to sleep.Sort of had a nightmare last night.DH is not the best with money and I dreampt that is mom load him $6000 and she was expecting him to pay it back at a certain time.(this wouldn't surprise me).I like getting up early but it is hard to do.And now that the winter is fast approaching it is going ot be even harder to get up early.

The pants I am wearing now are much more comfy.Its the first time I have worn them and they aren't to tight.I was thinking that they may be a little to high in the waist and it was going to irrtate my belly button (that is taking FOREVER to heal!)
Thanks for the encouragement everyone.You know how when you get older....most people in general....gradually get bigger? I wonder if I will ever get like that b/c with this extra 5 lbs I have on,there are some days that I feel so bloated and blah, its unbeleivable. Im sure I will gain some weight as I get older but I don't think I will ever be to the extreme, only b/c when I gain 5 lbs,it feels like 50 lbs. I can't imagine what 50 must feel like...
Anyway, I will stop babbling. I really don't have as much energy as what may be comming across here.

Good morning ladies,

Well I have been trying for a couple of days to start my TTR and I can't seem to get it done. I was so tired yesterday, that I couldn't bring myself to exercise. I am so hoping to do it after work today.

A little discouraged going to physical therapy here lately. wondering if it is doing a bit of good! I'm probably not being patient. I seem to be doing a spiraling dive.

I will checkin later today after work and that dreaded PT. And hopefully I can report I did MM upperbody.

Thanks, Kali! Love your pics, by the way!! I sure can relate to your little guy starting Kindergarten. I can still picture Nik in her uniform on her first day of K, waving goodbye at the door with a big smile on her face. This morning I thought we both were going to cry when I dropped her off! She was so nervous she could barely sleep last night. I found myself just now looking at her schedule to try and figure out which class she's in - LOL!!

This morning I will try Stepfit for the first time. My diet has been pretty good still and continuing to add extra leg/glute work daily.
Looking forward to measuring on Sun.
Lori - I'm on the same wavelength as you. I figure if I don't start the day off right, the rest will probably be a waste. Awful thinking isn't it?:-(
I tried my jeans on yesterday as well, 1st time in 2 months. Doesn't seem to be any change,thank heaven. (Well it would have been nice if they were looser.)
I also made a new discovery ;( Dimples are supposed to be on your face and not your thighs, right? I wonder if I could iron it out;)

Morning!

Yesterday was a pretty good day, took the dog for a 2 mile walk, did PLB, and biked for 20 mins but didn't go very far - my legs were spent :) They're not sore today though which is kind of disappointing in a sick way, lol. I'm going out for drinks and appetizers tonight with some of my girlfriends, so I need to do a real calorie burner today. I'm thinking Kick Max or KPC.

Wendy, I don't have kids but I'm amazed that your baby sleeps until 8am! I hope my babies do the same because mornings are not my friend :D I checked out your picture trail, he's growing so fast and he's soooo cute!

Well, since we started this check-in, it seems I've had nothing but rest days. Monday and Tuesday I had awful DOMS from Saturday and Sunday. Yesterday I was much better, but had a big court hearing and was very busy all day. I got home about 8:45 and couldn't wait to have a glass of wine and an order of sushi, so I didn't get to workout. Today I've got awful lower back pain, probably from all the stress yesterday. I also have to draft and file a very important document today, which is stressing me out. With any luck, I may be able to workout tonight before dinner.

Everyone sounds like they are doing great! Keep up the good work! I just love working out, and I'm so disappointed when life gets in the way.
