MBT Sneakers - Anyone try them yet ?????

I love my MBT sneakers! I originally got them b/c my right foot kept cramping after swimming, and it helped my foot/feet a lot. They are very comfortable and are great to wear on the elliptical. I sometimes wear them on hikes (not super rocky terrain). they have given me great definition in my legs. I can't say whether or not they are good for cellulite (I've had 2 miscarriages since I've had them, so I was prego 4 months of that time - hello water weight!), but they feel great to wear all day standing and walking. They feel like walking in sand ... in a good way.

If you can swing the 200 bucks and are looking for comfy shoes w/benefits, you might want to try them.

I absolutely love mine!!! They are all I wear when I run! They are the only shoes I have worn that don't give my shin splints or hurt my anterior flexor muscles! I don't know if they've helped the definition in my legs (more than Cathe) or not, or if they've helped reduce my cellulite in my legs (more than losing 70 lbs), but I still love them! They look and feel like clod-hoppers, but I wouldn't give them up for the world!
 
I got them at a store. Online it was recommended that you go to a store where "trained professionals can fit you correctly and teach you how to walk in them". Fortunately I researched the shoes before going because the lady had no idea about the shoes and she definitely was NOT a "trained professional". She was secured in her "birkenstock" corner of the world!;-)
 
I ordered mine online - they came with a dvd tutorial about how to use them correctly. IMO, it is not that hard to pick up and you don't really need a "professional" to show you the ropes. I can't remember which site I got mine from - I just did a search for the mbt site and went from there w/prices. Zappos has them though and they are very speedy about delivery :)

I just purchased my MBT sneakers. I wanted the advanced pair but the sales person suggested that I start out with the beginner. I didn't think that they were as ugly as everyone was saying. They come with a dvd and there is a class on 10/7 in Central Park with a representative from the company.

You're right, it really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to walk in these! Although I did have a problem with the tip of my big toe being numb for a while after wearing them. That went away after I broke them in.
I am hoping that the company will re-sole my (wore out the edges to the foam) because I only purchased them in March! I love them, but not interested in shelling out the $$$ for a new pair just yet!

Elin-those are the same as what I have!
