Labor Day Weekend Plans?

You mean Labour Day, right?;)

Saturday, I'm taking Sophie BTS shopping. And we'll probably go swimming too.

Sunday, my SO's family is coming over for a visit in the afternoon. Pray for me.

Monday, no plans yet. Depends on the weather, I guess. Maybe a nice hike, if the weather is good.
 
It's a my birthday this Sunday! :) They created a national holiday weekend just for me ;)

I plan to forget completely about work (yes, this is a feat for me but really means more that I plan to hammer down during this week so that I *can* forget about work!), hang out w/the family and relax. We may go to the aquarium or the zoo or something if the weather permits. No traveling though....yucky!

Saturday DH and the boys and I are going with my Mom's family up to the campground where my Favorite Aunt and Uncle stay in the summer just to eat and hang out for the day.

Sunday I am going over my BIL's for a Labor Day party where I am going to kick a** playing horseshoes! And if I don't, I'm gonna look good trying!!!! }(

Monday we'll probably hit LaFesta Italiana a street fair in the city near us. Lots of yummy stuff especially cannolli's! }(

My best girlfriend is driving up from MD to stay for the weekend. We're going to hit the mall while DH watches our son for the afternoon on Sunday. Yeah! We'll make the rest up as we go along ;)

We'll be on the road heading south! Yipeee! Leaving on Friday...to Myrtle Beach for a couple days, then to Charleston to sitesee, then Beaufort to see some friends and then, finally to Florida to visit both of my sisters. Can't wait! I'd like to go my family's house in Pennsylvania for the weekend as I usually do for Labor Day, but I have to have my stepmother-of-the-groom dress fitted and shop for accessories for the dress. Truth is, I'm glad to have an excuse to stay home. I'm looking forward to the down time. :D

Dani- don't be scared! You're going to do just great!

I'm heading south as well, but the the Tae Bo World Training center with a friend who is giving a testimonial for the next Infomercial. So inbetween Tae Bo sessions (we have 3 a day scheduled - I'm going to be sore!) we're going to visit Universal Studios, the Walk of Fame and all that fun stuff. We'll hit the beach one afternoon... Basically, we'll just have a great girl's weekend...
 
I am taking an extended weekend and taking off from work from Thursday through Tuesday to try to work up some enthusiasm (as opposed to the current dread/hatred) for my job after nearly killing myself on a rush project for a month. Have only sketchy plans so far--museum with one friend, movies with another, will try to see my family and maybe see if I can talk my sister into driving to the beach one day. And the BF may finally be back in town on Saturday, but I doubt it because his dad is still in the hospital. So I'll just be wallowing in self pity! Whee! ;-)
 
My sister just called and asked my to go wedding gown shopping with her. Her fiance is currently in Afghanistan and is due back home in November. They are planning a March 2006 wedding.

This will be much more fun than the back to school shopping I was planning...although Mama still needs a new pair of shoes!
