Kickboxing - rec's for instructional workouts

Cathe -

I love all the kickboxing segements in the workouts of yours that I've tried so far. I only have a few, and they are from your less recent series, but they are such fun to do that I don't get bored with the limited selection. Anyway, I'm a bit of a 'form' junkie. I really want to do things the best and most effective way (hey, why waste my time doing it wrong!) My problem is that I'm not that familiar with kickboxing, and don't always understand the cues and instructions.

Can you (or anyone) recommend a good instructional kickboxing workout or book? Hopefully one of yours? It's not that I can't get the choreography or do something that looks like the right move - I just need more specific form pointers and an explanation of the proper way to perform each movement. Since I haven't tried all your workouts, I may have missed it if you already have something like this. Is there a 'beginner kickboxing' Cathe workout?

Thank you for all your great work, and thanks for any information you can pass along!

Kaitlin Zamir has an excellent instructional video that carefully goes over each of the kicks and punches (it's about 40+ minutes long). (Her workouts themselves are not as good, IMO, because she has no sense of rythym and is often off-beat with the music). The series is called "G. I. Jabb" and you can find it by doing a search.
