Kick Max

Cathe I had to share this with you. I have been workingout to your workouts for about 6 years now and when I get a new one it is always a challenge, but after a few times I can make it look as easy as you to a degree. My oldest 6 year old son has watched me many of times as I work out and he is such a great motivator. Sometimes standing just by the step to give me a "high-five" as I come around the corner or say something that just keeps me going when I want to drop.

Well I just orderd Kick Max and it was deliverd the other day. I allerted the UPS driver of my delivery and the excitment behind the delivery, so he was nice enough to make it his first for the day. Well I decided to watch it to learn it first as I ran on the treadmil last night and my 6 year old was watching it with me. I was thinking to myself, this workout is going to leave me laying on the floor when it is over. I wasn't even doing the workout as I watched and I could still feel the burn. YIKES!!

I looked over at my son with wide eyes and he says to me, "Mom you better get your game face on for this workout, it is going to burn". I thought about laughing with him at first, then relized this workout is going to burn. I am almost scared of it!

I was scared of Boot Camp when I first watched it, but after I did that workout for the first time and Imax 2 for that matter, it wasn't that bad, so I am hopping Kick Max is the same, but I am not holding out much hope. It is going to Kick me all the way through!

You made a comment in Imax 2 "Be careful what you wish for" and I am careful now of what I wish for and have been ever since I heard your comment in Imax 2, but heck I wasn't wishing for a kick in the you know what when I orderd Kick Max.

I have Kick Max on my schedule for this comming Monday, please wish me luck that I will be able to walk upstairs to the shower when I am done because by the look of it, I won't be able to feel my legs.

Thank you for the challenging workouts that you continue to produce, even though some scare me, like the new ones about to come out, I enjoy the workout after all!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Bootcamp is significantly harder than KickMax. The bursts are challenging, but it's a good, fun workout. You'll enjoy it!

(Cathe - thank you for this workout!) I wasn't really big on kick max when I first got it, but in the last month I've been making a concerted effort to use it more often - just today as a matter of fact. I think this workout gets harder as you become more accustomed to it - because you can put so much more into it. It went from "not that great" to "OMG, how could I have not LOVED this workout?" Enjoy tackling it!

Thank you! That is so nice to know that Boot Camp is tougher, because I was scared of Boot Camp at first until I did it, but knowning that Kick Max isn't neccessarily as tough I am not so scared.

When I first watched Boot Camp I thought there was no way I would get through it all for a few times. But once I did it I thought, what was I so scared of. Now on Monday I will attack the workout with motivation instead of being so scared.

I am looking forward to Kick Max, and now more so than a few moments ago. Thanks for sharing your input, it really means a lot!!

I find Kick Max and Bootcamp equally hard! They're very different but both tough. And I disliked both of them when I first got them but now I reach for them alot. My problem is I don't like what I'm not accustomed to. (Maybe I just don't like the learning process.)Once I know the moves and get better at them, I learn to love them! Have fun.:)

Well I did Kick Max today and I am still breathing, but it was a challenge. Nothing to be scared of, normal Cathe workout, but I did have to put my game face on and hold it there the whole time through.

I have to say half way through the workout I started to not like Cathe so much, and had a few not so nice words to say to her, and I think she heard them because she said something like "what was that" which of course made me change my tone pretty fast. "oh nothing Cathe". :D

But by the end I think I made friends with Cathe again, well maybe not so fast, there is still tomorrow and she did say "your legs are going to be screaming tomorrow" so my new fear is waking up tomorrow. x( Yikes! What is in store for tomorrow!!

Thank you for the encouraging words you shared with me, they did help relieve the fear of the workout. It is a bit like bootcamp, at least the blast are. I think aside from the blast, KPC is a little harder. But then again I know KPC pretty well so I can give it my all the whole way through. When I learn Kick Max better, I am sure the challenge will get harder when I can give it my all the whole way through.

I am not sure I want to give my all to the leg drills though, OUCH!!!! My legs were on fire and I was begging for Cathe to count faster, but she didn't hear me that time.
