I think I would fall over, or at least walk like Tony Curtis in " Some Like it Hot," if I ever wore more than a 2" heel! I can see my ankle twisting now!
Back in the 70's, I used to wear 4" platforms, but the platform itself was about 3 or 3 1/2 inches, so they weren't really that " steep" at all. (And they looked really cool with my elephant bells--polyester of course! Great for disco dancing!)
The last time I wore high heels was when I was job hunting. I finally decided that the " women's suit," nylons and high heels weren't my thing anyway, so the last few interviews I did, I ditched them and went with the more casual dressy that I usually wear. My current job was from one of those interviews.
