Just disgusted...

.......with Beachbody. I purchased my Turbo Jam with FREE expedited shipping (3-5 days). It said package will ship "within 3-5 days" UPS Ground. Then I get the confirmation that it was sent off and it says that once it ships, expect it to take 2 WEEKS!! I mean, it is just laughable. Oh, what a freakin' bonus!! THEN.........I go to UPS and type in the tracking number and it does not even work. In fact, the number Beachbody gave me doesn't even look like a tracking number!!! In the email from them it said, "Click here to track your shipment". When I clicked on it it opened up a blank screen entitled, "About:Blank", with nothing there.


I am not expecting anything this time, not getting excited, you know the drill. It is just that every time I deal with Beachbody it is such a joke! This is the second time, thought I'd give em a second chance. They are just so low class, like they are running a business from a residential garage. Like they have too many customers and not enough employees...

Oh well. Pray for a safe, swift arrival of my package. What, mid February ya think??????}( ;)

Just to hopefully encourage you. I've ordered 3 turbo jam sets in the last month and they all arrived in about 3-5 days. They said it would take 2 weeks, but it was pretty fast I thought. NOW...I ordered the strength workouts from the P90 Master's series and they are nowhere to be found. They say they are back ordered.

Yes they do run it from the back of some garage, probably in some foreign country, but hey just keep in mind you can TELL them what you want to pay and they are soooo disorganized that they'll sell you what you for what you want to pay for it. :7 :7 :7 See there's a happy side to everything. :7 :7 :7

Briee (you didn't pay too much for this set did you?...you better not have!!!) And keep in mind if you hate them...you can double your money by selling them on ebay!!!

Can you believe there are members on the "Ask Cathe" complaining about the Cathe.com customer service??? Maybe they need to hear your story to see what horrible customer service REALLY is!!

Hi,
I just had the same experience. If you call them, they will give you the correct tracking number over the phone. My package is scheduled to arrive 1/5/06. I also received the "expedited shipping" when I placed my order on 12/27/05. To be fair, when I tracked my shipment it indicated it had been rescheduled so maybe it was originally scheduled to arrive earlier than the 5th. Also, my order included more than Turbo Jams, so maybe that caused a delay too? Anyway, I think they're open until 10pm pacific so you may still have time tonight. I think it was 11 something pm eastern when I called them for my tracking number.

The same thing happened to me. I ordered mine Monday of last week, got the email shipping confirmation on Wed. I couldn't track it because of the same issues you had. I just called Beachbody, they tracked it and said I should get it today. Yea! So there is hope! ;-)

I'm wondering if I got shafted on the price though. I did get a 20% discount, but after reading that the price varies so much, I'm wondering if I got the best deal. Oh well, too late now! :p
 
Beachbody shipping is very odd.
When they say your package has been shipped, it means it's gone to their distribution center for pick-up, which may not be for a couple of days. I've just learned to place my order and not get hung up on waiting.
 
Good god, they are the worst company in the world to deal with. They have NO customer service. It is a shame too, b/c they put out a decent product. I will *never* order from them again b/c of the customer service issues. It isn't worth my time & aggravation.
 
So if I were to order P90X program I should expect lousy customer service?

I have ordered a slew of DVD's from cathe.com, and they arrived within three to four days at my home. I have been interested in the Turbo Jams for slightly easier workouts on days when I don't want to be so intense. I ordered the Turbo Jam set from Ebay, and I will see how quickly I get it. I have heard such terrible things about Beachbody that I am afraid to order from them. I am an exercise junkie, and I also have a gym membership.
 
I recently ordered the Slim Series from them. I placed the order on the 22nd or 23rd and by the 27th I had an email stating that my package was shipped. I just checked the tracking # and it worked. Mine was sent via USPS, not UPS though. I don't know if that makes a difference as far as the tracking # not working....

I have also ordered many times from them in the past with NO problems...the Great Body Garunteed Series, Slim in 6 and Power Hour. I purchased them all at separate times and never had any issues. The last of the purchases was a couple of years ago though so they could have changed for the worse over the years....

We'll see what happens but so far I think they are doing fine...I guess maybe I am just one of the lucky ones? ;)
 
SO SORRY! Hey if this makes you feel better (or at least not alone) the first order (P90X) I placed last year never registered and I had to call and find out despite the confirmation saying it went through the order didn't exist. I tried a second time this OCT to order the new Masters series with free rushed shipping. I received them December 19. I believe their warehouse must be in Mars if 3 months is rushed shipping. NEVER AGAIN! thats for sure. No matter how tempted I am to order I just won't period. I won't even look at their products anymore.

It's too bad their CS sucks because I love the Slim Series and P90X workouts. It took a month to get these workouts because they had to ship from CA to CT. Those of you on the West Coast would get yours a lot earlier. Check your credit card statements too, because in the past there have been people who've been double charged. I've been spoiled with Cathe's service. I've never had to take anything back, but when I've ordered from Cathe I've received my merchandise the NEXT day!

There's a couple of new workouts from BB that I would love, but I don't feel like waiting a month to get them!:-(
 
Well - I have had good experiences so far. Including the fact that my 9 month old puppy chewed up my P90X DVD's before I had even gotten them out of the box (yes - she chewed up the shipping box and all) and they replaced them for FREE!!! Not many places would do that.

I received my Turbo Jam workouts within a week and the Slim Series within a week as well. I also got my replacement Turbo Jam DVD's (the first shipment I had a few that froze) within a week as well. I will say that my shipping email confirmation usually is a day later then when I actually receive my shipment. go figure....
 
Ok, well, I retract my statement........somewhat. I got my videos today. They look really cool and worth the $$, but I have not previewed CP 2 to see if it works.

After previewing, I realize just how much weight I really do have to lose and just how ugly my current workout clothes are. LOL. Well, we can't all be one of the beautiful people. LOL.


So...........Order!! I ordered online last Wed, so it took me a week from purchase for them to be in my hot little hands! P90X took almost A MONTH!!! Both were worth the wait. Power 90 was not...;)
 
I got my order from Beach Body bright and early this morning! No complaints! And when I checked my credit card after I ordered I was only charged once. I am quite pleased. :)
