No salty snacks

I already drink enough water but will continue to do so.

I will also stay with the SITG challenge

My own personal goal will be to get back to a positive body image. Lately I ahve been picking at every little flaw.

For those of you that are trying to drink plenty of water have you seen the water jugs at Walmart? It holds the 64 ounces you need and it comes with a straw. They are like $4 or $5 for one. I carry mine all over with me and I know when it is empty that I have had my water intake for the day. They also have water info printed on the outside of them. I have bought several for people because they have commented on mine and want one. Just a suggestion.:)

This looks like a good place for a confession. I have failed miserably with the June No Sweets challenge. The month started out pretty well, but went down the tubes last week while I was helping a friend deal with some life choices.

Sooo, I'm placing my vote for another No Sweets Challenge or a general personal challenge so I can give this another go. It's something I really think I'd benefit from. Gee, that's terrible grammar! lol

Connie :D

My personal challenges:

1. SITG
2. Continuation of No-Sweets Challenge in the form of a Greatly Reduced Sweets Challenge
3. 15 pushups from toes

I already drink a ton of water (seriously, I should be floating away), and I don't eat salty snacks very much, so I don't really need either of those challenges. Sucking in my gut is proving to be so difficult! :p

Ok, here are mine:

1. SITG!
2. Drink 64 oz H2O daily.
3. Work back up to cardio 5x a week.
4. Rehabilitate the elbow!!
5. My personal goal: focus on the positive. Affirm one positive thing about myself to myself every day.

Cheers,
Marie

Okay...here is mine...

1. Continue with the no sweets challenge.
2. Quit smoking.

There, I put in black and white...and I will take one day at a time.

1. Increase water to 64 ounces plus a day
(I am going to bring in my gallon jug of water with ice and drink away!!!)

2. Follow the August 2004 rotation to the tea! !!!!
(Well I am going to have to make some substitutions bc I don't have the CTX series bc its on backorder, so I will have to make do.)

3. I am cleaning up my diet :)
My husband is helping with that one as well - we are buying lots of veggies and meats to grill! Also I have a fantastic pasta salad and black bean salad that we are making each week so I don't snack on chips and salsa or granola bars and crap :)

I think the quitting smoking is the best thing I have seen so far! I have been cig free since Jan 4 2005! My 25th birthday was the last time I allowed myself a cig and my body and self image has improved so much!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY BODY IS THANKING ME!!!!!!!!!! Once you get past the first two weeks - you realize you really want to do it bc you feel so wonderful!!!!

Reba, I quit smoking when I was 22 and unfortunately about 3 years ago I started again. I hate it and I'm ready to quit. Congratulations on quitting!

Tammy,

Congratulations on your decision to do this. You will reap the benefits of a longer life and less medical complications from smoking as you get older. I have never smoked so I don't fully understand what you are up again, but you have my support 100%.

Ok. I'm putting no sweets on my list. x( If you guys can quit smoking, I can give up sweets for a month.
We can all do anything we put our minds to. So let's do it.
