Jari Love

I really want to like someone else othe than Cathe, so I checked out Jari Love's sight, and I have to agree with you Beavs that she does seem really Barbie dollish. Are her workouts really that good????

This was a great total body circuit workout! Very similar to the others as far as the weight work (compound moves, high reps, different counts), but has very short cardio bursts in between each exercise, kinda like agility drills. A nice mix, but I found the stretching after every cardio unnecessary and wastes time, esp. since the cardio is so short. Sometimes I just kept moving during the stretch to keep heart rate up slightly.

One other minor shortcoming, the upper body workout is unbalanced: there is lots of chest: chest press/flye & drop sets of push ups, like Cathe in GS C&T(great!), but virtually no back, minimal tricep work, ok amount shoulders.

The focus is more on lower body & compound moves to burn fat. Like the ab work, too. I liked the feel of the set & the music.

I'd say ot was pretty fun & different. I need to do it a few more times to really know, but overall i think it's got a place in my workout library.
