Please keep your prayers coming. This is not going to be a nice one. They say it's worse than Ivan last year. Cat. 4 winds 145mph! This one will go down in the books!

Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe! Be safe!

Please keep us updated.

Yes, please be safe Carla! We are keeping a watchful eye ourselves in LA! My sister lives in Pensacola, and thank goodness, she and her family evacuated to my mother's house near Baton Rouge. They had just about finished their repairs from Ivan!

Please be safe and my thoughts and prayers are with you!

I pray something changes & it fizzles out. Carla I hope you have supplies and water & boarded up everything. My inlaw & their next door neighbors did that together, so at least they have each other. They are a young couple so that helps.

Stay safe.

How scary for you! I feel so sad thinking about it. I have never experienced anything like this. I will be praying for you and everyone else in it's path.

From what I heard this evening, things have eased up a bit - hope that's true in your area, but my prayers will stay with you!

DH's dad called & said the worst passed. I hope so. I just couldn't believe it would happen again to you. DH was terribly upset about this all yesterday & this mornng though. Thankful for mercies.

I'm in Indianapolis, and the clouds from the outer bands arrived here tonight. Gave us quite a pretty sunset. I pulled all my flower pots up to the house in preparation, because the "eye" of Dennis is forecasted to go right over Indianapolis on Tuesday (thanks to the high pressure cell that's steering it westward, and then will pull it back to the East either tomorrow or Tuesday).

Arlene hit us earlier this year and dumped torrential rain on us for a day-and-a-half, as well as a few tornadoes and strong wind gusts. I can only imagine what Dennis will do once he arrives here, especially since a nice cold front is brewing in the plains and heading this way, and because Dennis is much stronger than Arlene was. However, Dennis might not be as bad as the cold front when it goes through right after he leaves all his tropical air behind in our state.

I think Dennis might have the potential to do more damage inland than on the coast, given the weather systems that are developing and converging. So, everyone in the Midwest: WATCH OUT!

Be careful and be safe everybody!
