1 1/2 c Pecans; chopped
3/4 c Milk
3/4 c Corn syrup; light or dark
1/4 c Margarine or butter;softened
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
4 Eggs
3/4 c Brown sugar; packed
1/2 c Bisquick or baking mix

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease pie plate, 9"x1 1/4" . Sprinkle pecans in plate. Beat remaining ingredients till smooth; 15 seconds in blender on high or 1 minute with hand beater. Pour into plate. Bake till knife inserted in centre comes out clean, 50-55 minutes. Cool.

I have another version which is streamlined even more using carmel ice cream topping. I'll try to find that and post that version if anyone is interested. Cheez! It's making me hungry!

Just Do It! :)

Hi Honeybunch1

OMG..how did you know that I simply loveeee pecan pie. I've never made one, but this recipe seems so simple, thanks for posting it. I have a question, do or can I use already made pie crust?

I think the definition of "clean eating" changes over the holidays. It means clean your plate!

sounds delicious. Thanks for the idea. I'd like to see your caramel ice cream topping recipe. I LOVE caramel.

I agree with the "clean" eating during the holidays. Clean your plate!!

This sounds impossibly awesome. I'm going to try it using honey instead of corn syrup/brown sugar and soy milk in place of milk. I may try flax seed in place of eggs, but not sure yet. I'm the queen of substitutions in recipes and they usually don't come out too bad. I'll let you know when I try it. Thanks Honey bunch!!!
