I'm not actually leaving until Saturday morning after my final long run of 8 miles! Yahoo!! But I've got so much to do to get ready that I won't be hanging out on the computer.

I'll be camping with my family at the Grand Canyon for five days then we'll head over to our friend's house in Utah. Both me and my husband, one of our friends in Utah and my running partner/friend from here at home will all be running the marathon on Saturday (October 1). There will be about 10 additional friends and family members who will also be there to cheer us on so it should be great fun!

Of course the cherry on top will be if I meet my goal of completing the marathon in under 4 hours.

Thanks for the support and well wishes from all of you! I'll let you know how it went when I get back!

Are you running the St. George marathon? I ran it in 1999! It was so fun and a mostly gradual downhill slope. Good luck - I hope you do well and have a blast!

Good luck and have fun. A very good friend of mine and her DH are also running it. She'll be going from the L.A. area.

Good luck on the marathon, you know that you will do great! and have fun at the Grand Canyon! That is my favorite place in the world, it is just too amazing.
