Hi girls,

I have only posted here once or twice and I am very desperate for some advice. And I know you ladies are the best ones to turn to.
I started taking Vyvanse in Jan. of this year and it started making me lose weight and it starting me to start exercising. So I lost a majority of my weight exercising and eating right. Now I have starting losing my hair and have gone to a dermatologist and we are working on stopping this. My problem is that I can't get back to exercising because losing my hair has made me depressed. I stress out and the bad eating here I come. So I am hoping you ladies can give me some advice on how to get things started again.

Alittle bit of information, I started out at 185# and lost to 143#. I want to get to 140# but it was very stubborn. Now I have gained to 148# and I am scared my weight will creep up again.

Thanks to any advice!

First off i wanted to say i'm sorry to hear about your hair loss. That must be so hard to go through. To get back into working out i say start slow as you did when you first started exercising. Do something you love to do 3 times a week to start with. I think that once you start the habit again you will notice how the exercise will lift your spirits a bit. You have to start the pattern all over again but since you've exercised previously i think that you will get back into it quickly. We are all here to support each other so come here for encouragment. You will get back to it but just don't feel like a failure if you don't jump back into doing 5-6 days per week. Start slow and build gradually. I hope this helps some. Big hugs to you!!!!

ITA with kariev! Find something fun to do that you enjoy a lot! Do it a couple to a few times per week. That will get you feeling better and, then, slowly, start getting back into a routine. Try not to gorge out on junk food with how you are feeling. Eat some of your favorite clean/healthy foods instead. Divert your attention from what's depressing you with hobbies too!

I've been battling some hair loss as well over the past couple of years. It's very noticeable to me. I just went to my dermatologist today and we're going to try something different. If this doesn't work, then he'll do some blood work and a biopsy. So, don't lose hope! Keep your chin up and distract yourself! Don't dwell!

Get out there and have some fun and keep us posted!
