I have to gush.....

Thanks to a fantastic fellow Catheite I am now the proud owner of the P90X system. I know this is a topic that has been covered a lot in this forum, but now that I can relate to the people who love it I had to post. I have tried almost all of the workouts with the exception of a few and I love, love, love this system. I have Beachbody workouts but nothing with Tony as the lead and I am loving him as much as the workouts. He's amusing and motivating and has developed a killer workout program. I haven't been this totally and completely satisfied with a single workout let alone a whole set of workouts in a really long time. The only problem now will be that I am rapidly becoming spoiled and it will be hard to make future purchases now that I have even higher expectations. :D :D :D

hi Ciddy,

Isn't it awesome?! I am having the "spoiled" problem. I've gone through a number of P90x rotations at this point and just want more!!

Welcome to the ranks of P90X=ers!
I know what you mean about Tony spoiling you for other workouts. It took me quite a while to get back in to Cathe's straight-set style workouts after doing P90X and loving the sequencing, the recovery, pretty much everything! P90X has definitely set the bar for weight workouts and rotations.

I bought P90X probably close to 3 years ago (whenever it first came out), at full price, and I still say it's the best single workout investment I've ever made.

Kathryn, do you have the P90 Masters? I think I recall you enjoying one of the workouts in particular. Either that or I'm off my rocker... either one is equally likely, LOL!:D

I'm in phase 2 of the Classic Rotation so tonight I did Chest, Shoulders and Tris for the first time. HOLY BURN, BATMAN! Who knew I could do one-armed push-ups and clap push-ups?:p

It's fantastic. I'm loving it. I haven't seen results yet but I someone else said they gained a bit in their first and second phases but then lost it all during the second recovery week and saw tons of definition, so I'm holding onto that thought:)

Does the P90X system come with a diet plan also or do you just eat the way you normally would?

I've looked at this system several times but am on the fence about whether or not to order it.

Thanks!

Where is the best place to purchase this plan?

I would love to buy it but I don't want to get taken to the bank on it.

Also, what is a good site to go to to learn more about it?

Michelle

You're not off your rocker (at least not because of this!:) )

I have P90M, and with the exception of "Core Cardio," I like the workouts. Sculpt 5-6 (full body, but more like "upper body with some legs") and "Plyo Legs" are my favorites (but I really like the other cardio ones, too!)

It comes with a diet plan, but I didn't follow it. I just cleaned things up a bit, and made sure to have a recovery drink (not the stuff they sell, but a soy beverage that has the same macronutrient breakdown...now I use a hemp-protein smoothie for the same purpose) after each weight workout (and to get extra sleep, especially during week 1).

I'm with ya!!! I love the P90X Workouts! I really love it now that I did a full rotation and can add these programs in when I want. I really enjoy the mix of Tony and Cathe.

As much as I hate to say it Beachbody is probably one of the better places to get the system. I was EXTREMELY lucky and was able to purchase the program from a fellow Catheite. As far as ebay goes it could end up costing you a lot more if there are high bids than if you purchased through Beachbody. As you may have read Beachbody is a nightmare for many to deal with, but this program is SO good that it would probably be worth taking the chance. I was on the fence about ordering this system because I didn't want to deal with Beachbody, but if I knew then how truly great these workouts are I wouldn't have given ordering them a second thought.:)
