I did Bootcamp for the first time!!!

Yippee! Go me! I'm so proud of myself. :D

I have been scared to try it, even though I've had it for a couple of weeks now. But I finally decided to just give it a go - I had created an elaborate fallback plan of sitting on the high step and staring at the TV if I got too exhausted. But I didn't have to use my fallback plan at all! I did the whole workout without pausing! When Cathe asked "Don't you feel accomplished?" I was like "Hell yeah!" It was such a fun workout - I'll be doing this one many times.

I just had to share my proud moment. :D

Oh yeah - believe me, I've been guzzling water like crazy. Bootcamp definitely causes some, ahem, fluid loss. ;)

I like the part during planks where Cathe says "Does anyone else have sweat dripping off their chin?" How did she know!?! :p

Way to go, Emily!! I felt the same way you did - I had it for a couple weeks but was way too intimidated to try it. Then when I finally did it, it was a huge accomplishment! I still can't get through the @#$* terminators though.....UGH.....horrible things, just HORRIBLE!!!!

I'm proud of you, Emily!!!

Angie

Congrats! How awesome :) It DEFINITELY is a feeling of accomplishment to finish bootcamp, and with no pauses - you go girl! I tell ya, 8 min of cardio my heinie...sure doesn't feel like it ;)

Debbie

I am new to Bootcamp as well having done it only a couple of times. It really kicks your a$$! And those Terminators, well let's just say, that is a really good name for them. I love this workout!

Bootcamp has become my fave workout, and I'm glad that you have now made the trip over to the darkside}(

Congrats! I do like your fallback plan. It's very elaborate.;)

Hi, if you like bootcamp, you will really like Gauntlet. It kicks it up further, if you can beleive that's possible. It contains most of the cardio from Bootcamp plus six intervals from IMAX2 and much of the boot camp circuit work plus some of the circuit work of C&W. I think its Cath'es toughest circuit.

So I have a question...Is bootcamp considered an aerobic workout even with only 8 minutes of cardio? I would love to try this one but is it considered my cardio for the day or my strenght for the day?

Terri

Bootcamp is a circuit workout - your heart rate will be elevated for much more than 8 minutes. I know mine was! :) You get strength training too - not as focused as a straight strength workout, but pretty decent. So, it falls under both categories - cardio and strength.

Angie - I was wondering the same thing! That Gauntlet workout sounds downright deadly! And for some reason, I feel this strange desire to buy it anyway. See what Cathe has done to me?!! }(

>Hi, if you like bootcamp, you will really like Gauntlet

Way to go Emily! Bootcamp, if you can believe it, was my intro to Cathe. I love that one, it's fun, and it kicks my behind!:) You're going to want to do BC all the time! That's how I was after doing that one for the first time.

I just got Hardcore Extreme, how does that compare to Gauntlet? I forgot who posted the above about liking Gauntlet.

LOL! I'm right there with you!!! And BTW, Cathe somehow, ALWAYS seems to know!

Well, wait until you're brave enough to try A-Jock's mish-moshes!}( }( }( }( }( }( }(

BootCamp has now made it into my weekly rotation...and I look forward to it! Great all around workout with a lot of fun factor.

Tammy

PS: I just changed the channel to FitTV and guess what is on -- BOOTCAMP! Too funny and what a coincidence...
