I am soo excited. I sent my daughter and son in law to Sears last night and I bought me a treadmill.
I have those days when i just can't jump around on a step. Like yesterday i did the pyramids this week. Oh my , I am still hurting.
Wait till the DH gets home tonite. (Working out of town).
I took one of the couches out of my basement room. (Want to loose them Both).I rolled it out . It is really heavy wood. It is now in his garage.
I told him to get rid of it.
I bought a nordic trac one. Had it on sale for 1099.( He doesn't know)
Hope i like it.The treadmill doc said basically everything under 2 grand wasn't too good.
You should have seen us lifting this thing out of the back of my truck!!!!!
(Thank god it was the floor model. Last one. It was put together.
Hope i did right told them no warranty. I said no to 250 bucks. The motor had 30 yrs. DH can fix it if needed. He is good at that stuff.
Any one else have nordic trac.
We have a skiier and an eclipse.Eclipse makes my feet numb.

I've had a NordicTrack treadmill for years and haven't had any problems with it. I hope you enjoy yours.

I have a ProForm from Sears and LOVE it!!! It is almost 1 year old and zero problems. I use it most days of the week so i put plenty of miles on it. I only paid $650 so I figure if it only lasts 1 year, it would be worth it to buy another one and I won't feel like I wasted my money.

I don't know why you were told anything under a couple thousand was no good. I'm not sure how anyone could even make that determination since most people use their treadmills for hanging laundry!LOL!!! I am sure if you use it in random spurts with excessive down time in between, it may be hard on the machine. I know your not like that, though, so I feel quite certain that you will LOVE LOVE LOVE your purchase!!!

Let us know how it goes!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

We had a proform for 6 years before it ran out of steam. We ran on 5-6 times a week with no problem. We have a more expensive one now by precor and to tell you the truth the only realy difference I see is that it is quieter. Good luck with your purchase. I am sure you will love it. It is so nice that you have it there for days where you don't feel like choreography and just want a change of pace.
