Sorry, I just had to share as I found a used one (in un-used condition) for $60. These things are usually around $300 new. So now I have to not only work on big-girl push ups, but pull ups as well.

I found it on craigslist. I love that website.

I have no idea where I'm going to put it. At the moment, it's totally diassembled in the back of my XSO's car. It's huge so it's going to take some serious room.

My BIL keeps his in his garage. That is where I would put mine if I had one. If I couldn't use a garage....probably a corner of my bedroom, I guess. Where do you have room for it?

I have no garage and pretty soon may not have a home. Since I'm in a temporary living situation, maybe I could set it up in my bedroom, although I would have to climb around it to go to bed. My initial, and admittedly bizarre, idea was to put it in the bathroom! There's probably enough room for it in there. And I keep the bathroom very clean!

I vote in the bathroom. That will give you the encentive to keep at least one room in the house clean! Have FUN. I bought one at Dick's Sporting Goods last year. Hmmm, maybe I need to use it. Thanks for the reminder.

Debbie, I just looked at the Dick's website and they have them for much less than other places I had researched. That's good to know. Now, I'll try them when I eventually get my own house and set up a full gym! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :)

And yes, please remember to use yours. Otherwise, it just becomes an obnoxious looking coatrack! :p

I got mine on sale for $99.00+tax which I thought was a great buy. (well, it's be a great buy IF I used it! Awwwk!) Headed down to give it a go. I won't be able to move/breathe tomorrow on the plane because of YOU! :7

Maximus, according to the DIck's Sporting Goods and Sports Authority websites, they are apparently only $100 new. Have a garage sale and get rid of some things you don't need in order to get the $100 and make room for one! :D

P.S. I bought it mainly for abs, but the dips and chin up are bonus features!
 
I have never seen these before. Don't know where I've been..LOL

Would you explain what types of exercises you can do on it? I can see the obvious things like pull-ups and leg raises but are there other uses?

As far as I know, the main uses are: chin up/pull ups, knee raises and dips. Someone who has had one for a while may know of other uses for it. :D

OOO yeah, like a drying rack for your delicates! Treadmills are good for that too! Lunacat, can you get a $60 treadmill too? Then you'd have TWO drying racks! :D
