For the first time in 3 years...I get to go to the movies with one of my friends. Million Dollar Baby is on at the $2.00 movie, and we are going out to eat at Chili's (uh-oh). I really need a night out. I love my 3 boys, but staying home with them all day, and watching my 2 year old nephew, I think I deserve a little break! Yippeee! Just had to share!

How fun!! Not many of my close friends are near me. My best friend is now across the US :(

But we are double dating with the neighbors this weekend. First time in a long time we are doing something social for fun!!!

I just ate at Chili's a couple days ago. I had the Chicken Tacos and they were excellent - I highly recommend. And really, not all that bad for you, as long as you don't eat all 3 tacos plus the entire side of rice plus the entire cup of black bean soup. It's a ton of food!
 
Is the movie out on dvd yet? I've been wanting to see it but am waiting for it to come out on dvd first.

I am dying to see that movie. But you know what? I had no idea how it ended until the Early Show did a piece on the woman the story was kind of based on. I was so upset! They completely ruined the ending for me!

Anyway, have a great time, it sounds like a nice night.
 
Thanks guys.....I am really excited, but I do feel a little guilty for not taking my kids to the movies instead. But, heck....I NEED a night out, I am way overdue. I am going to try to get over my guilt.

Sooo, how did it go? Wasn't the movie great? Sad, but great! I hope you got over your guilt once you were having a good time. I think time away from your kids is a good thing and will make you a better Mom. You need to get out with your friends at least once a month, okay?
