How long have you posted?

I've been lurking since the late 90's (I'm not sure when... probably 97, 98) and started posting about 5 years ago.

Don't be intimidated because some of us have been posting for a long time. We welcome everybody. I love when new people start posting. This is a great place to visit. ;-)

I've only been posting since March 4th. But as you can see from my post count, I kind of like it here. In that time, I feel like I've made some good friends, I've definitely received TONS of amazing advice and learned a lot.

Everyone is always so welcoming to new posters. It's just an incredible place:)

I've been reading the boards for 5 years, but without posting much. I was registered under some other name long ago but never used it. I check this site whenever I have a few minutes to play on the computer, I could never find such a group of like-minded fitness people anywhere!

off to do my slow and heavy chest and back now...

I've lurked around the forum since '97/'98. I don't post much, usually only to point someone in the right direction. Lately, I've been really busy giving the house a facelift and trying to stay on tack with my workouts.

I have been here since I got the internet, sometime in March, I think. I don't remember such things, I have three kids so time all runs together for me! Maybe.....almost four months? I lurked a little bit from time to time, though.

I think that my first post was probably asking which Hardcore was people's favorites. I think.........like I said, three kids!;)

I have no idea how long I've been here! I've been doing Cathe's workouts for quite a few years, but the actual timeframe of when I found this forum escapes me. I will check it out under my username when I post this reply! :p

ETA: It says Charter Member... does this mean I'm older than dirt? ;)

I lurked for 2 years and am not sure why I was hesitant to start posting. I've been posting about a year and a half, this board is definitely part of my day to day routine. I love communicating with like minded people, I get way too many blank stares when I talk about health and fitness with most people I know.

Take Care
Laurie:)

I don't even remember anymore! Maybe 3 years?

I still remember discovering Pure Strength and doing nothing else for about a year. I was completely addicted to it and used to go to bed at night thinking about it and wake up thinking about it. Weird. I just HAD to chat it up regularly. I was awed by how much everyone on the forums knew and couldn't wait to learn everything.

The honeymoon has cooled a bit, but I still enjoy my Cathe workouts, and occasionally still catch the fever.

I started posting in August 2004, but lurked for about one month before that. Once I started regularly doing Cathe workouts, I also regularly started posting.

I have learned so much here, and I am still learning new things everyday.

Welcome Carolyn!

I begun to check this forum for sometime, and I have been posting since 2/05. I love to read the OD and I have learned a lot from all of you. I have been working out for a long time but is the first time I joined a forum, it feels great to communicate with people with similar interest.

If you look under author & username, you'll see how long & how often someone has posted, unless of course they changed usernames. Lurking is another story, as many people have lurked some time before actually registering their username.

I asked this once before & apparently the "oldest users" are the ones that say charter member. From what I understand, they were registered on the old Cathe website.

Actually, the Charter Member designation means you were a member before the last big software change. There's no way (that I know of) to trace how long we've been here before that.
