My husband and I are planning to hike in Colorado in July. Our destinations are Crested Butte and Maroon Bells area. If you live near there, or have hiked in those 2 areas, I would love some recommendations as to where to stay and the hikes that you can recommend. Last year we hiked in the Ouray and Grand Mesa areas and it was just beautiful. One hike in Ouray was up to 12,300 feet and the Crag's Crest in the Grand Mesa area was approximately 10 miles.
