HELP!! Very Nervous Roadtripper

I'm nervous too!! I'm a big fan of the rewind button, but clearly there will be no do-overs here!! I sometimes find myself on the wrong side of the step, or using the wrong leg. So I rewind until I think I get it. But then when I do the workout again, weeks later, I'm STILL on the wrong side of the step!!

Sooooo, my point is...I'm clearly not going to win any fitness awards!! But I'll be laughing at myself (and hopefully I won't get in anyone's way :) ).

You are not alone. Just focus on having fun!

Count me in as another somewhat "nervous Nellie"...lol...it sort of hit me this week, too...but I just keep reminding myself of what some of the other posters have already said...we're there to meet and work out with Cathe and each other, and most of all HAVE FUN...so I'm gonna!! :))

At times like these, I'm glad I have anosmia!!! I do feel sorry for my roomies, though.....BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!!}(

Remember everyone:

It's not "missing a step." It's "creating a new move" and "improvising."

It's not "I can only lift 5lb dbs on triceps." It's "I'm sculpting the underlying muscle to shape specific areas."

It's not "I'm too heavy/too thin/too whatever." It's "I'm too awesome."

It's not "I'm nervous what other people will think of me." It's "Look at all the new friends I've made."

Well said Lunacat! :7

I think we should all remember that doing a Cathe class live is going to be a little different from doing a Cathe DVD.

From what I can see from the VF road trip video clips, moves are repeated a LOT. Cathe changes things up a lot with her DVDs so that you can do them 400 times and not get bored. But I'm quite sure that she's going to give us plenty of opportunity to learn as we go. She's an amazing instructor and that's what they do.

And I'm STILL gonna end up on the wrong side of the step:D

When we've all finished laughing our butts off, whatever will we land on when we fall off the step?

As my other hero, Jimmy Buffet, says, If we weren't all crazy, we would be insane."

Haydee,

Thank you! I signed up for the A. Idol thing, but I'm sure to be a nervous WRECK when I get up there. I just might barf or pass out! But I didn't want to look back at the opportunity and thing "Man I wish I had..." So I'm counting on you wonderful ladies out there to REVIVE me when I faint and not to do anything embarrassing to my unconsious body.

Now about the passing of various gasses, my family always said:

"It's better to f@rt and bare the shame,
Then not to f@rt and bare the pain!"

And as any of the Texas girls can tell you--I consider Belching an Art form!
