A friend of mine works on the OBS floor at the hospital so we decided to take a trip to the baby ward and see if we could hear the babies heart beat.
I know it the states they hear the babies heartbeat through a internal ultrasound but in canada we have to wait until the Dr can find it with the doppler.And that usually can't be done until 14 weeks or so.
So we played with it for a while and as soon as she would hear it, the baby would take off somewhere else! We finally got to hear it when we were about to give up, he/she managed to keep still for 10 sec.The heart rate was 178 beats per min, which is a very good sign.
It was nice to know that there is actually something inside of me! hahaha
