What!!! Im the first here and its my late morning

Where are you all
August ????????????? Wake up!!

ok im off to work but wanted to check in
i think today im going to see how i can eat cleaner AOL had a blurb this morning on fitness and one of them featured Georg whatever his name is the one who says 8 mins
he said 12 reps of bicep curls and 12 reps of tricep kickbacks and repeat for 4 times will get your arms in shape
what does anyone think>????

Goodmorning hate-filled folk.

Well, Michele, it's Golden New Life Monday. Ready for it?

We have a snowy, slippery mess of about 4 inches here. No one was on the road this morning, so the commute wasn't too bad. Everyone at home has a 2 hour delay, so they are all still snug little bed bugs.

Jen, do have to do more ShovelMax?

Cathe's rotation calls for KPC today. I'm glad, because when I first read it, I thought it called for SJP. My dyslexic brain always gets those 2 confused, and I love KPC and hate SJP. I hope you all get where you have to safely, enjoy your time there and get home safely too. Have a great golden day.

ETA: I must have been a couple minutes behind Mariah, so I'm pasting this to her thread. Later.

Robin

Hello!

Had another actual work day. Out of my place. Out of my pajamas. Out.

Wow, and two threads have been started today!

Arista -

>I would never stand in line for donuts for 3 hours! That's awful. Is there anywhere else in Tokyo to get donuts?

LMAO, I TOTALLY read that as "is there anyone else in Tokyo who can get the donuts?" Um, yes, I'm sure I could find a donut place in Tokyo SOMEWHERE, but I've never had Krispy Kreme and they are sort of a fantasy (LOL, I just wrote fantasty)....Anyway, that's great about the relaxation tape you've been listening to. Is it a series of tapes or one that you re-listen to?

Michele - Sorry I missed you last night, but I'm glad you watched some good shows and had a good sleep! Ahh, golden fish (as in the fried up variety). Hurry up and bring that man of yours to Tokyo so I can take you guys to some great fish places. You won't believe it's fish. You beTTer come soon!...Holy smokes, your DH eats breakfast and then nothing until dinner?! I would never last.

Haha, is that the bunny in the cart that your kitty has been batting around? Aren't you scared it will break? They're both very cute. In fact, the ducky one looks good enough to eat!

Jen - Glad to hear that you're feeling better!

Mariah - I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. That must be worrisome for you and your family. It's surprising and alarming how that kind of thing really can be caused by medicines and not simply by age. I hope you'll be able to find what is troubling her so that she, and you, can rest easy.

Robin - Did you enjoy doing your KPC?

Kara - Hi! Welcome! Come by any day! And I love your user name. LOL!

Wow, Going out early and working makes me sleepy. :D

I'm going to wash up and get ready for Nintendo. Er, I mean, bed.

Good morning!

The...the ants are back:eek: x( . I'm so distraught.

Mariah, August is probably getting ready to go to bed -- she's about 14 hours ahead of us. I do hope she pokes her head in to say good night. She's probably worn out from a long day at the fruit stand.:p --Who's this Georg person? I never heard of him or the 8 min, 12 rep plan. I'll try to find the 'blurb" and read it for myself. --Don't work too hard, Mariah.'

Robin, I'm ready!! Let's go out there and face Golden New Life Monday together! I saw your post in the <--- thread and I think I need to get back into daily devotionals, too. You're absolutely right about how it impacts your day and your attitude. I know that I've been way too focused on myself lately and that's not a good thing. --SJP...KPC...you prefer one over the other? Egad! Either one would make me quake in my Ryka's:eek:

Jen and Arista, your workout plans look great and I'm so glad you both scheduled a rest day, but I get the feeling Jen wouldn't be taking a rest day if it weren't for her hair appointment while Arista OTOH, is taking a rest day and not apologizing for it, by golly --LMAO!

Yea!! Kara stopped by!!:) :) :)

Hey everybody, I'll BBL to see what y'all'er up to.

The ants love you, Michele. They can't get enough of you!

:* :D :* :D :*

I have not moved my Butts or Guts since writing my last post...just as I was going to get up, I had some business emails and calls come in.

NOW...now I'm going to go wash up and get ready for Nin...bed.

August!! We were posting at the same time. No, no, kitty was batting around a different bunny -- a big brown bunny nestled down into a basket. He just loves that bunny, and not to fear -- it's not as delicate as the one in the picture.

Oh hey, I'm sorry you had to get dressed today --LMAO!

Ants...ACK!

G'night August:* :*

Ahhhh, I'm all washed up now.

Heh, sounds like I'm bad-mouthing myself.

Yeah, I could hardly believe you'd let your kitty bat that delicate thing around, as much as you love your kitty and all.

Not only did I have to get dressed today, but I also had to eat order-in Chinese at work. It was totally oil city.

Do your ants have a favorite food? :p

August, I think Michele's ants favorite food is Michele.

Kara!!!! I didn't see your post last night. Yes, the haters could always use more squireliness.

I'm looking out the window here at work and thinking maybe it's about time to pull out the skis. I think I'll cross country ski when I get home instead of KPC. I'll just do the C part before I go. I hope the snow doesn't change to rain now that I'm all excited about skiing....

>I think Michele's ants favorite food is Michele.

LMAO!

>I'll just do the C part before I go.

LMAO again!!

I itch all over...thank you so much for suggesting that I am the food of champions for ants.

Robin, I hope you get to ski tonight. Would you even have to do the "C" part if you went skiing? Doesn't skiing work your core pretty good? I'm trying to help you here!

Oh yeah, ITA about Chinese food being greasy. I can't eat it...aside from the grease, the food is always drenched in a sauce made of God knows what:eek:

So, what's going on in your Village tonight? --LMAO

Hi there- I've been really sloffing off on the working out-about 3 weeks ago it started with a day here and there and this am I'm putting it off typing with you gals-help me!!-and I'm suppose to start P90X Wed??-sshhh-don't tell Shelley- no really-I will dig deep and get back wich yu all, somehow, someway....LOL--deb

DEB - Get to work!!!! I really, really need you to do P90X to talk me into/out of buying it.

Michele, yeah, skiing probably does work the abs, but I always think of it as more of a thigh/cardio workout. At least the thighs are the parts that always hurt the next day. Oh, and the toes. I wish I could find a pair of boots that really fit well. Years that I do a lot of skiing, my second toenail is always bruised and black until the middle of summer. Oh, and the heels. I get some helacious blisters.

Hey haters. Wow you all were chatty over the weekend. I don't have time to read all the posts. I'm not taking lunch today b/c I have to take Gannon to the dr - he's sick AGAIN!!!

August, when I read today's thread I really, really thought you meant you went blonde. Duh - what was I thinking???? 3 hours for KK donuts? That is insane!!! I have no patience whatsoever for that. You ordered Chinese takeout in Japan? Weird! HA!!! Are you getting in decent LB workouts using these other workouts rather then the ones with squats and lunges?

Robin - Cross Country skiing sounds fun. Where do you go to ski?

Michele - ants again?!?!?!? What is up with that? You better call the exterminator and let him know that you are MAD. First he comes late and then it doesn't even work. Let him have it!!!!!

Arista - glad that you had a wonderful visit with your friend. Did you enjoy your book?

Deb - what is this I read that you haven't started P90X???? I was waiting for a report and you haven't started yet? What are we going to do with you?

Jenn - I hope that you feel better soon. Take it easy!

Hi Mariah, Diane, and Shelley!

Tonight I want to do KPC. I didn't workout at all over the weekend. Friday I did the upper body premix from MM and then I did the abs from SJP. (Robin I don't like that w/o either, but the ab portion is good). I did go sledding yesterday w/Gabe. Does that count? :p We also had poopy weather here - it has finally stopped snowing.

Gannon is sick - he had a fever over the weekend, thankfully he didn't have one this morning so he could go to daycare. But he has an awful cough and his poor eyes are watering and he has yellow gunk coming out of his nose.

Well, I better get going. I've got work to do.

Have a great day all! :+

Dana, I hope the boys are both better soon. That's one of the problems with kids, especially one's in daycare. They catch everything and drag it home with them. I usually go skiing over on the State Game Lands near my house. It's flat and has lots of dirt roads.

Oh man, I don't know what I was thinking when I chose "squirrelly" as my user name, but I'm glad you like it August! :D

Thank you for the invite, I would love to frequent this check-in, but I have to come clean and admit that I adore cardio. But, I will pretend to hate it for you guys. :)

I will be back for a lengthier post tomorrow, but I need to prepare myself for a FOUR hour boring class tonight. Interestingly, the course subject is "adult learning" and I can honestly say that I haven't learned a blasted thing these past seven weeks!

I apologize for being self-absorbed and I promise to do better tomorrow!

Have a great afternoon haters! :)

Waves as crazy day diane waltzs in and out. Oh, sorry, that was kind of in "arrow speak". Sometimes it's hard to seperate the two.

Kara, psssst, you don't really have to hate cardio to post here. I too adore cardio. Some of the hard core cardio haters here have actually enjoyed cardio workouts in the past-eh, Michele, nudge, nudge - August, wink, wink.

I managed to find all my clothes, boots, poles and skis after work and had a wonderful 70 minute workout. There was not another soul around, including the snow mobilers. The snow was perfect, the temperature was perfect. It was just great. I'm going to go do the C from KPC now.

LOL, I loaned one of our med tech students the new Powerstrike workout and KickMax. She did Powerstrike over the weekend and came to work today telling me how sore she is. I didn't have the heart to tell her I think this is a pretty easy workout. She's 23 and about a size 2. I can't wait to hear what she thinks of Cathe. Nyuck, nyuck.

Good evening haters! I am finished with my workout tonight & for a Monday I do have to give myself a pat on the back! I did Cindy Whitmarsh Ultimate Fat Burner, 10 min bun toner & 10 min thigh toner & 200 jumping jacks! I feel good for a Monday!

Mariah- You were the early bird today! I am curious as to who this George is too....huh, curious george?? LOL! ;-)

Robin- No, thank goodness no shovelmax for me! It rained here ALL day Saturday but no snow! Another storm cell is moving through Thurday & Friday but they are saying only rain for us again... I hope Terri doesn't get more snow but they are saying it is going to form just like this last storm. How much snow did you end up getting? Sounds like you had a wonderful workout on the skis, sounds like so much fun. Can you believe I've never been snow skiing before? Now, water skiing I love though! That is TOO funny about the 23 year old at work, she did the PS4? From what I've heard compared to 1&2 that is really easy, you'll kill her with Cathe... be nice Robin! }(

Michele- I do always take 1 day off a week no matter what... typically it is Wednesday but this week is Tuesday due to hair appoitment. What w/o did you do today? How is your weather?

August- I am so sorry you had to get out of your PJs, as a fellow PJ lover here I understand your pain! I hope tomorrow brings a day full of PJs for you so you can keep Mr. Choco Raisin company. :D

Kara- Welcome! Yeah, a lot of them actually like cardio...I'm beginning to think more do like it than don't... however I am one that would never do it again if I could get away with it, unfortunatly my body type doesn't allow it so I am forced to do it. I do however like kickboxing...

Deb- Come back & join us, we'll help you get back on track... well, we will try at least! :)

Dana- Hey there, so sorry to hear that Gannon isn't feeling well. Did you get KPC in tonight? I really like that one, I did it Saturday. I don't have SJP, are the abs in it better than in KPC? I love the abs in KPC.

Diane- Hello! You will have to fill us in on your weekend when you have time, I know your sister was visiting & you were going to see the family with her.

Terri- Hope you aren't buried in the snow somewhere & are just super busy at work.

Going to find some grub to eat & will probably BBL. 24 is on at 8 I think tonight! I love that show but have a really hard time sitting in front of the TV for an hour straight.

Yes, it's been busy 'round here. We finally got out of 20" of snow with more to come Wed-Friday. UGH. We had such a mild Dec & Jan and was afraid we'd get hit in Feb-Mar-April.

Dana-sorry to hear Gannon is sick. Hope he gets better soon.

Mariah-you work at IHOP, right? Whenever I see the commercials for their new pancakes I think of you. I just love pancakes.

Arista: when does your new job start?

August: I'll "read" you in the morning over my steel cut oats. It's become a tradition, almost like the Sunday morning paper. Is your village like Virtual Villagers? My kids have this game and they have to take care of a village of people. Is that similiar?

Robin: how is the room makeover going?

Jen: I emailed you a bunch tonight. My b-u-t-t-o-c-k-s are STILL sore of PS1!

Diane: hope you're feeling better. The second trimester is just around the corner.

Kara: Welcome!

I did GS BCB this morning. Tomorrow's workout is legs; probably B&G - YIKES!

Catch you all tomorrow,
Terri
