Has anyone experience "Law Of Attraction"?

Just curious,

Does it really work? If so, will you share your thoughts on the matter, or your experience?

So very curious,

RE: Has anyone experience

Have you read the book, "Excuse me your life is waiting?". I think that is the name of the book I read that introduced me to the "law of attraction". To me it made perfect sense. Don't we all know people that tend to always talk about the bad things in their lives, and they just have more of it and another bad thing to talk about. It seems like a vicious cycle. Then, some of us just skip through life happy as clams, don't worry about anything and come up smelling like roses!
Both of those are extreme of course, but I think it is interesting. I unfortunately have not been able to put it to work for me as well as I would like, but I believe the principle is still good. I think it works even if you don't believe it. My husband can talk negative sometimes, but when he puts his "mind" to something (so to speak) it happens! He says he remembers his first thought when he saw me at work. He thought "why can't I have something like that?" Haha now he does and he's stuck with me!! He wanted a new Harley for five years and even though he doesn't have a lot of money he got one. I think it's because he is a very creative person (an accomplished musician and was a graphic artist) and I think he visualizes things very
clearly in his mind.
I find if I write something down as a goal it tends to come to pass more often than not.

Just my two cents and thoughts on the matter.

RE: Has anyone experience

I have had this work many times for me. The best book I have ever read on this was Sonia Choquette - Yours Hearts Desire.
Another good book is by Wayne Dyer - You Will See It When You Believe It.Once a year I write down my top 10 things I was to "create" in my life. This may be in regard to relationships, material things, life goals. I agree that just writing them down tends to make us focus more on attaining them. There is also a version of this where you make your own treasure map. A pictoral version of your goals and desires to focus on daily. I could list many books for you on this if you would like more information. I have attained a car in the exact color I was picturing, new employees that actually stayed and were good, different things for my home, etc. It works. Not always in the time frame we want, but it works.

Heheheh. Having no idea about this book or theory, I opened this thread fully expecting to read many tales of tall, handsome strangers that you could not find the strength to resist.

LOL!

Sorry, Janey. :)

RE: Has anyone experience

That's OK, I'll start another thread that will explain more in detail.

RE: Has anyone experience

Oh, yeah, I absolutely believe in this - another good book is "The Magic of Believing." An old boyfriend introduced me to this book ions ago, and he became very successful applying the principles outlined in the book. I occasionally will make lists of what I want to see in my life, I need to do it more. The job I have now is something I wrote down and really sort of dismissed at being "impossible," so there you are! I'm up too early this morning, so maybe I'll make a new list! Thanks for bringing this up!
