Hardcore Rotation Checkin Wednesday July 6

Morning Everyone,

This morning I did High Step Challenge. I was exhausted yesterday after work and when my alarm went off this morning I was dreading my workout (which never happens), so I figured I should do something I like. I still had much difficulty getting into the intensity of the workout, as I am extremely tired today (which is also not common for me). I'm even struggling to be awake enough to get ready for work. I guess my hectic day at work after having 4 days off got to me.

I'm going to review the Hardcore Fatloss rotation today on my break at work and a couple other ones and then decide what I should do this month. If I do follow this month's rotation, do you ladies think it would be good if I added more to each workout, or should I just do another one?
I'm an indecisive Libra!

Hi Ladies,

Last night I did a 6.2 mile run and HSC abs/core and stretch.
Monday was a 6.5 mile run and PLB up only.
Sunday I did a 10.2 mile run and swam some laps in the afternoon.

I plan on just a run today..

Hello All!!

I'm back....

Lora, I'm in agreement with you about July's rotation. I don't have issues with time and the workouts don't seem long enough for me. In fact, I haven't done anything on the rotation yet, can't get into it for some reason. I think it would be great if I were pressed for time, but that's not the case. Here's my week thus far...

Monday - IMAX2/PLB
Tuesday - Ran on Treadmill/PUB/CTX Step Only
Wednesday - LL/Will go for a run at lunch today.

What I'll do tomorrow...I don't know.

What kind of rotation is everyone else doing?

~Marietta

Beverly,

I am doing the same thing. Except for the past few days I have not done anything with these hives. I am going for it tonight. Hopefully they don't show up too bad. If they do I might have to think of workout clothes that are head to toe! LOL!! Know of any? I might get aweful HOT though. I just don't want to gross anyone out with all the big red hives.;-)

Hi fit women!

This morning I did GS Chest and Triceps.

Beverly, I may not follow a rotation this month either. I have some trips planned and just would not be able to follow one.

Lora, I agree with Nicole about this month's rotation. I would definitely add onto each of these workouts, or just bag it all together and find another one. There is an Index to all Cathe's rotations...just find what sounds good to you.

Dallas, I think walking lunges are excellent add on's to a leg workout. Not that I do them, but when I did, it was a good "burner" to finish with.

Nicole, I asked Diane Sue what cardio coach was last week or so. If you go back and review our check in, you'll see her reply. It's music with a person talking to you. He'll tell you to push yourself for a few minutes here and there... See attached the link to the website.

Diane Sue, I enjoy camping too. Are you following a particular rotation this month?

Sabrina, glad your rash is getting better!

Hi Maritta!

Have a great day!

I did high step challenge last night. I could not finish the calve burners. I don't know why they burn so bad. I have not really planed a rotation for this month. I want to build more bicep and glute muscle not really lose any more weight. I could lose 4 more inches in my abs. I just got the ps legs and abs and finally muscle endurance. I am so happy. I will definitly work that in to my routine. I have also worked up to running two miles which is nothing compared to you guys. But i am trying to get there. I am leaning away from Imax three but maybe the premix or blasts after wgts. I am confused. I guess I will do whatever. But now that i have put my foot down no more neighnbors kids or working extra shifts to cover people. I will get my routine back. Good luck to every one getting results.

Hi Everyone -

I've printed out the Leg & Glute Focus/Fat Burning Rotation, Hardcore Fatloss Rotation and Fat Loss and Definition from the index. I haven't had a chance to look at them yet, but I'm gonna try to look at them later. I'm a little upset because whatever I choose will only be a 3 week rotation now since it's already Thursday tomorrow.

I want to lose 5 pounds and I need to work on my legs and abs and get more "definition" ........Is there any way to do all 3 rotations at once? Just kidding. I'm such a Libra when it comes to making decisions. I drive myself crazy. I'm torn on what to do. If I choose an older rotation, it won't have any of the Hardcore Series in it and I really like the music on the Hardcore. Must think about this and hopefully have time to look them over. Too busy here at work this week.

Hello Everyone:D,
Today I did PLB and 200 hundred walking lunges:p My dd was quite intrigued by those.... I was counting and then she was counting and I had to ask her to stop becase I was losing count. (I did not want to do any extra :7 ha ha)

Dallas how did yours go for you today??? They were not as bad as I thought they would be.

Lora I am really enjoying the Aug. 04 fatloss rotation, but I plan to go back to the Hardcore fatloss after this one.(I am missing the hardcores) I think that one was really good to.

Susan thanks for the information I must have missed that post ;-)

Hi Roxy and welcome to the check-in:D PS will help build your biceps and glutes, and you are going to love ME!!

Take care,
~Nicole

Hi All,

Nicole how did those lunges go? I added them onto my leg work out this morning. I haven't done them in so long. Susan, yes, "burner" would be a good way to describe how my legs were feeling. I wonder if I'll be able to walk tomorrow?! I finished the first 100 and thought that's good, but I thought of all of you and pushed myself to finish the next 100.

Lora, I opted not to do July's rotation because I felt I needed more too. I never did the April rotation, so I thought I'd give that one a try. After this one, depending on what's posted for August, I'm going to find a rotation that includes S&H. I've really come to like those work outs. I'm a Pisces and have a hard time making decisions, too! Is that a trait of Pisces?

Beverly, how did you ever build the endurance for 10+ miles? I would love to run a half marathon someday, but my longest distance has been 6 miles. Maybe because it's so darn boring on the treadmill I can't wait to get off of that thing. A good show can only take me so far.

Take care everyone.

Nicole, somehow I missed your post. My phone rang in the middle of typing, so that's probably what happened. Anyway, yes I did them. I was surprised how my heart rate was going up. Do you think I was going to fast? I probably finished them in approx 15 minutes.

How often are you supposed to do those? Did you use any dumbbells? I used 5lbs in each hand.

Sorry, for all the questions.

Great job!

Dallas

Hi everyone,
Today was I Max3 stopping at the stretch, Bowflex & Free weights lower,Core Max Complete Core & I Max 3 stretch. Since I am doing the Cardio Coach challenge on their forumes as outlined by Francine It was not a Cardio Coach day. I am working on different ideas on how to incorporate these audio workouts with little equipment. Others have used their rebounders and taken it outside running. I row on the Bowflex and have incorporated the jump rope. I am thinking I could run in place, high knees, and plyos for the intense segments. He has you go through level 1-level 4 intensities. Francine has outlined a challenge and adjusted for those doing Cathe's rotation and various other workouts. Nicole it is www.cardiocoach.com

Have a great day,
Diane Sue

Hi Dallas,
Mine lasted about 15 minutes too:D I did not go at a real fast pace either I would do 4 walking lunges and turn around, and keep going once I got to 100 it seemed to go much faster for some reason??You go GIRL 5lbs wts WOW :7 I did not use wts. I think you could add them in weekly if you wanted. I am just following them on my current rotation. I don't know I might TRY adding them weeKly to.

Take care,
~Nicole

Hey Diane Sue Thanks for the link:D It looks like it would be FUN for a change of pace:D Keep us posted on your rotation results and what you think of it??? :7

Take care,
~Nicole
