Hardcore Rotation Checkin Wednesday Aug 10

Hi Everyone,

This morning I only had time for Leaner Legs & Abs. I was supposed to do a 3 mile run also, but had no time. I also thought it might be good to give my feet one day without aerobics. I have to work the early shift due to a dental appointment.

Just thought I'd mention that I finally got my Rhythmic Step, Imax & MIC DVD last night. I previewed it and after waiting all of that time, I'm not sure how much I'm going to like it. I don't really care for the music on it. You really get spoiled from the music on the newer series.

I am just about ready to do KPC and The PLB stability ball work. Later today I am going to do pub. I like upperbody work alot:) So it seems everyone survived bootcamp! Goog job to everyone!!

Lora-I am sorry to hear you don't think you are going to like Rythymic DVD. Mine is suppose to be here by Monday and I hope I don't feel the same way as I too am excited for it! Good luck at you dental appt.

Dallas-I bet going to the gym was a nice change. I have thought about going to one for a day pass just to use the elliptical. I want to buy one someday and since it's been awhile I figured it would be fun to go try it out again. Sometimes I get tired of the treadmill you know?

Nicole-Thanks for the tip from day one of the book. You will be happy to know I cleaned out my master closet. It is a huge walk in too! That took some time.

Diane Sue-You are so lucky to have such a wonderful family.:)

Marietta-I may have to take a rest day soon:( I am so darned tired yesterday and today feel achy so I think I may be coming down with something. I sure hope not! You know how I get with rest days!!

Happy Hump Day!!

This morning I did KCP and the Stability Ball work from PLB. It took a little over an hour and was a good workout. I will probably go for a run during lunch.

Oh...let me clarify...I WILL take rest days...just don't like too.

Lora...I just got my Rythmic DVD too...I hope it was worth the wait. Skipping cardo today is probably a really good idea.

Terri...Take your rest day...your body is asking for it!! I know you are upset over some things today. There is so much that is beyond our understanding...just know that life is short and we are to regard each moment as precious. That's all we can do...

Susan...you worked out for about 2 hours yesterday and you're pregnant...remarkable!!

Nicole...that book you're reading is making you do amazing things....things I need to do!!

Susan...As usual great workouts!! I'm happy for you that you have a loving a supportive family. Makes it all worthwhile doesn't it?? GET A TREADMILL!! I love having mine.

Dallas...glad you enjoyed your gym workout...perhaps the change in scenery made all the difference for you? Go more often especially if you kids actually like it too!!

God Bless all of you cleaning your closets out. That sort of thing totally overwhelms and paralyzes me, plus I NEVER have time to do it, cuz I'm always working out (he...he).
 
Good Morning Ladies!

I did KPC/LG Premix (82 minutes), plus PLB stability ball. I really liked that premix. I was having such a good time doing it; I forgot to get my husband up! I told him I lost track of time. My w/o today took about 90 minutes or so. What's kind of funny, is I'm don't always land my jumps like I used to. My joints are wobbly, so my legs wiggle. It's not painful, just awkward.

Lora, Are you a day ahead in the rotation? You'll be good and ready when you leave for Vegas, soon. I agree, the music in the MIC DVD is dated. I don't have RS, but have MIC and IMAX on VHS. The music in Imax doesn't bother me. It is a good workout. I won't purchase the Classics DVD because the outfits and music is dated.

Terri, That's a good idea doing PUB later today. I miss doing upper body weight training in this rotation.

Marietta, I do have a treadmill. I have an entire gym set up. It's just loud and the bedrooms are pretty close. I'm up so early, I'd feel guilty waking anyone up. My stepper/elliptical is silent. I can even watch tv while using it.

Dallas, Are you just taking classes at the gym or using the entire facility? I bet there is a ton of variety.

Nicole, I STILL have not gotten that book yet! What I've always done is dedicate a full day and do EVERYTHING. Most of the time closets and cabinets are organized, but still. My parents might take my son for a few days and I'll get my act together then. (I hope).

Diane Sue, My legs would be like Jell-O after all the Imax's you did! 2.5 hours is a long time for me.

Hey good almost afternoon. My first time checking in. Great work outs every one. I did Imax 3 this morning. Why are the plie jumps such torcher. I probably did half of them. I do love the music on my hardcore series. I hope you guys will enjoy your new dvd's. Please tell us how you like them. I also want to get an elliptical it is easy on the knees and you can watch tv while doing it. Ha ha! I am scared to get a tread mill with the kiddies. I will do my ME or Slow and heavy chest and back. I will see how my legs feel tonight. I tried to do circuit max and ME yesterday after the ME warm up I was like NOT TODAY. So maybe I will do 2hrs every other day. See ya and have a great day!
 
Susan - No - I am not a day ahead.....I just changed all of my days around to work with my schedule (have more time on certain days).

Lora ~ How's your foot?

Terri ~ Maybe you should take a days rest. Do you feel achy because of DOMS? Or a sick achy? I know what you mean about getting tired of the treadmill. That's why I'm glad I've done some running outside lately.

Marietta ~ I would go to the gym more, but how would I ever do without my Cathe DVDs?!!!? I've read on here that some girls write it down, but it's just not the same. You know. She's so motivating. Just when I want to give up (usually on a leg work out), she knows just what to say to get me through it.

Susan ~ I just went to the gym for the first time (in a long time) yesterday. I did the 5 miles on the treadmill. I'm not so sure about the classes there. I don't think that they would be as challenging as Cathe's work outs. It's been a while since I took a class there. Maybe I should give it another chance.

Nicole ~ You should get some kind of kickback from Ms. Connie Cox. LOL!!! We'll be the most organized check in group! :D I plan on doing Day 1 again because my kids are at the grandparents again for a 2 night sleep over. I'm planning on going through all the toys! They never let me get rid of anything!

Hello Everyone,
I am TIRED today. My dh is out of town this week and first I had one kid in bed than I had two which equals to NO sleep. Today I plan to do KPC and PLB on the ball. Susan you got me interested in that premix. I may try that if I find the time.

Terri I am STILL working on my closet}( Hey girls tell me HOW you guys get ALL the stuff done in one day?? My goal is to stick with DAY 1 all this week (Dallas happy to hear you are on day 1 as well ha ha). I did take that bag to Goodwill yesterday. (Felt GOOD to get it out of the house.

Marietta you can join us with the dejunking any time.:7 I just wonder WHY do I keep buying things???

Susan I WISH I could dedicate one day, but I hate to say I get sidetracked with other things. ha ha.

Lora just start with a small section of your closet.

Hi everyone,
Today I did Step Blast, stopped at the st. and did the interval blast at the end of MIC, then I did Super Sets upper blast adding two sets of the one arm rows and the triceps kickbacks from PP as I always feel like these two areas are missing something when I am done, I finished off with SS stretch.

Lora, the music is dated but I really like these workouts.

Susan I think maybe I got a little over zealous yesterday. For the first time ever I kept waking up with cramps in my calves. I have never had that happen before and this typwe of workout is not unusal for me.

Susan...sorry about the confusion earlier. That pre-mix does sound good though...have to keep that in mind.

Dallas...You can still use Cathe and go to the gym...trust me!!

Nicole...when my life settles down a bit, I'd love to join you...I have to get the book first...don't I? That's on my list!! Sorry you're so tired...perhaps you'll get some reast today.

Diana Sue - I usually take a potassium supplement cuz if I don't, I get calf spasms. It could mean you're dehydrated also??

Nicole - I've been meaning to ask you...How long did you do your Slim Series and did you see any results?

I think I'm calling the doctor tomorrow to find out if I'm allowed to jump on my foot, or if I need to jump on the rebounder. I was so much in shock that it was fractured, I didn't think to ask him if it's healed enough to jump on it and he didn't specify. I think I'll do KPC jumping on my rebounder tomorrow until I talk to the doctor.
 
Lora, my dh said the same thing when I chatted with him earlier. Only thing is I drink tons of water. I have glasses of water all over and I eat loads of veggies and fruits and take vitamins. I have a hard time thinking I would be low on potassium. DH says a lot of the guys there in Iraq have that problem. I think he about lives on Gatorade. I also drink water while working out.

I'm back. My appointment seemed like forever. It's a good thing I brought my 30 Days to a Simpler Life book! It made the time go by faster. I hate sitting still that long.

Nicole ~ you asked how we got all that stuff done. Each of the closets I did took a couple of hours. Not just the hour. Tomorrow is de-junking the toy rooms. So what category do you fall into in their book? I'm not sure for me. I know what you mean about visitors in the night. My 2 year old sleeps half the night with us and he kicks!

Marietta ~ You'll have to PM me and let me know how you work out at the gym and to Cathe. Maybe I can start out doing a few days a week at the gym. That would break up the monotony.

Diane Sue ~ I've heard that too about muscle cramping and low potassium. I also got leg cramps as a side effect from my cholesterol medicine. I'm not on it anymore, but probably need to be. It's genetically high. Could it be from a medicine you're taking?
