Hardcore Rotation Checkin Thursday May 5

Morning Ladies - Well....it's Thursday...one day closer to Friday!! Yay! This morning I did Slow & Heavy Shoulders and 30 minutes of cardio using the cardio portions from High Step Training Advanced & High Step Challenge. I used my rebounder for some of the higher impact jumping. I'm still trying to get my low back used to the high impact which it doesn't like. I did the stretch at the end of HSC twice cuz I love it so much! Felt good.....aren't the 40's lovely? I really need to try to figure more stretching in this month's rotation. I usually try to do 20 minutes 3-4 times a week, but I'm time crunched this month. I'm so bloated and feel so fat today. Darned PMS!! Let's just get it over with already. I can't stand the chocolate cravings and migraines! I want some brownies!! LOL

Kim - I hope your mouth is good enough for you to workout today.

Diana Sue - I hope you are feeling better also.

I'm at work on my computer and my shoulders are burning. They are screaming. Why oh why do I get such problems with my leveator scapulae and traps and into the sides of my neck after I work my shoulders? I don't think this is good pain.....maybe I need to work my way up to this workout. I'm such a weakling.....especially in my shoulders!!
 
Hi Ladies,

Last night I did a 5 mile interval run and abs/stretch from MM. I plan on doing a short run today and PLB up only.

Solara, Good job on your success story. You have gotten great results since December.. That is great!

Lorajc, I hope your neck and shoulders are feeling better.

Hi All!
Last night five minutes after getting home, the doorbell rang. A friend who I haven't seen in months just stopped by. We had a couple of drinks and chatted for quite a while. So, needless to say, when the alarm clock went off this morning... I just ignored it, and went back to sleep.
Tonight is another friends Cinco de Mayo/jewelry party...so, no w/o for me today. Oh well. I'm not too bothered by it, now, but I was this morning.

I'll check in tomorrow!

No workout for me today. I worked until 1:00 AM. could not bring myself to workout. Getting my son off to school was hard enough.

Hi Everyone,
I am feeling much today. Wednesday was Low Max, balanced core, pyramid abs, and resistance abs on the Bowflex, Stretch Max w/ the ball.
Today was I Max 3, Muscle Max lower stop@stretch, Boot Camp leg press premix, PS calves 2X and floorwork & stretch.

Lora when I have choclate cravings I make hot cocoa with splenda&skim milk and add Sugar Free Coffee mate. Than helps my sweet tooth & chocolate cravings. I love doing the cardio only portions of HSTA & HSCh It feels like a good intense shorter workout that is effective.

Beverly things are going alright. Thanks for asking. I hate having to take care of everything here myself. I am kind of spoiled as dh takes care of it all. Now I am stuck taking care of paperwork and stuff. My children are really helpful though and have been around a lot. It is sure quiet sitting in a big empty house when everyone is gone though.

I did HST after work today. I haven't done that workout for months. It was one of my very first Cathe workouts and I remember I couldn't make it thru the blasts. Well, no problem completing the workout now! I used a 15# db for the leg presses, 30# for squats, lunges, hover squats etc but I lightened up on the last set for my biceps, triceps and shoulders. I wanted to execute every rep with perfect form, full range of motion and a peak contraction.

Beverly ~ Thank's for asking about my mouth. I'm fine and very relieved to have the entire ordeal behind me. Thanks for checking out my post on SUCCESS STORIES and the kudos. It was a pleasant surprise and exactly what I needed to keep motivated. I'm struggling with this month's rotation...feeling a little outta sync. I'm not following Cathe's rotation. SCM (Sue) posted a rotation and I've started that but I'm not entirely sold on it either. I may go back to the April's strength building rotation and incorporate some more cardio. We'll see!

Lora ~ I hope you feel better soon. I've had a miserable week physically and emotionally. The only way to go is UP!

Diane Sue ~ God bless your children and grandchildren for keeping you company. One of my life's greatest blessings is having my extended family close. As much as we all need (and often crave) solitude, it gets lonely fast. My heart aches for you. You, your husband and family are in my prayers.

Hello Everyone!!
This morning I did GS Shoulders, PP/SS Shoulders, and tonight I feel like someting fast and easy. I am thinking I will do a firm cardio. I have been RUNNING ALL day and am tired! Which I am sure you all can relate to.

Today I was sitting in the drive through at Mickey D's and can you believe someone ramed into the back end of the another persons car??? I was sooooooooo...... thankful it was not me:eek: Does that sound terriable. I just could not believe this happened????? So I thought I would share!!

Lora sorry about your shoulder pain. Hope it feels better for you tomorrow!!
