Hardcore Rotation Checkin Saturday April 30

Morning Everyone -
I did 50 minutes of intervals on the Eliptical this morning (first time I've done it since I've discovered Cathe in February - needed to crosstrain badly), Slim & Limber stretch tape, 20 minutes of Kundalini Yoga. I'm still not feeling well with this stomach flu. I wish I'd just get over it already.

Have great workouts everyone. I wish Cathe would post the May rotation so I could figure all of the times, etc and see what DVD's I have. I'd like to get May planned. In the meantime, I'm going to take advantage of using my Body Blast series, as they are all new to me and I'm trying them out.

Today's a scheduled rest day but I was going to do LoMax. But my parents are going thru a rough time right now. They live 20 miles away but I stopped everything I was doing and intending to do to go and help them out. Workouts can wait...

Hi everyone,
Todays workout was Kick Max and Legs & Glutes floor work. I really wanted to get GS BSB timesaver in but had a lot to get done. Two of my grandaughters were over this evening. I am really trying to work on my diet. It has not been good here lately. When I feel stressed I head for the kitchen and mindlessly eat. Today I made the asparagus Ricotta Pie from the June Oxygen mag. for dinner. My grandaughters ate it with me. I had a salad on the side. Snack was Jello and ff sour cream. I didn't eat the rest of the day. I slept late, did my workout after coffee and went shopping. Then my grandaughters showed up at dinner time. Maybe I will add a light snack. This is not a good way to eat. I am really not sure where I am going with my w/o next week. I have been doing GS for 10 weeks. I have added little changes here and there.

Kim I am sorry your parents are having problems. Sometimes other things are just more important than a workout.

Nicole I have not forgotten your request for a lower body toning rotation. I have been trying to think up one to really work on my definition. Especially after all of the GS weeks. I think I still want to incorporate it in there for lower some.

Diane Sue Thanks so much to be taking the time!! I really appeciate it!! I have a question did you grandaughters enjoy the pie?? It sounds so good, but my dh and kids can be so fussy at times. I made myself potato soup yesterday.

I love SOUP recipes any one care to share there favorites with me???
Can you tell it has been cold here!! (midwest) I want to eat soup ALL the time ha ha

Hi Ladies,

I had a couple good days of workouts. Friday I did a 5 mile run and PLB up only. Today I did a 6.2 mile run and PUB up only.

Kim, that is great you went to help your parents. I wish I lived closer to my mom so I could help her take care of my dad.

WD, what type of lower body workout rotation are you and Nicole thinking of doing. Building mass, strength or what? Just curious. I might be able to help create one with you guys.

I am anxious to see what Cathe posts for May.

Hmm, grandaughters and the pie. I think I pretty much ate the asparagus out of one of there dinners. The other ate most of hers. I asked first and they both assured me they liked asparagu. I think I ended up eating a whole lot more than planned. Myolder grandaughter ate most of hers though.
