Hardcore Rotation Checkin Friday the 13th May

Hi everyone,

Nicole...........don't get started on candy already....LOL. I'm still dying for that brownie you had me craving. Little piggie girl is eating her yogurt and oatmeal right now....but it won't be long before I'm starving and yes, I've been having huge, huge sugar cravings every afternoon at work....caramel creams and chocolate...yikes.

Kim - I'm glad you didn't get hurt worse than you did.

Today's workout was Slow & Heavy biceps and abs and then I did CTX kickbox. I had to cut it a bit short.....needed to place my perfume oil order (I'm obsessed with this place that updated their website today and they came out with a Limited Edition of 13 for Friday the 13th...). I have been dragging this week. Believe it or not, I think I still have this stomach flu....or I may just need to go to the doctors and see what's wrong with me (but that's not gonna happen). My body feels beat and my low back is bothering me again. I think I hurt it doing deadlifts, but I wish I knew what I did wrong. Maybe I just can't go that heavy yet.....I don't know.

I'll probably do aerobics tomorrow ...instead of rest...as I've been gaining weight lately. I need more aerobics in my routine. I think I'm only going to stick with the May rotation (using slow & heavy) for 3 weeks and then the last week, I'm gonna blast out a fat blasting rotation week.

I did Muscle Endurance yesterday and a 6.2 mile run. Not sure what I will do today. I am still just winging it... :7

I had an awesome workout today. I did HST followed with CM#2. Thanks for the good vibes Kim and everyone!

Lora, I get hungrier when I do heavy weights for a while. My biggest temptation are nuts. I love every nut out there, and the saltier the better.

Kim, I'm so glad you're all right after your fall.

Nicole, Glad to hear you got a good workout in yesterday after all.

Beverly, I wish I could spend the time to run like you do and then do a Cathe w/o. I used to be a runner... those were the days.

Diane Sue, what can I say, I love the w/o's you map out. I don't take the time to be that creative. Do you have a multi-disk player?

Hey! Good news! That rash I mentioned earlier this week, was not due to strawberries. It was the chemicals my husband put in our hot tub. The jets that are supposed to hit your back (they hit my sides, since this world is built for giants). Feeewww!

Todays workout was KickMax stopping at the lower conditioning, then CTX 10,10,10 cardio,followed with KM lower, then Bowflex 5 sets each, leg extensions, leg curls, leg press, seated calves, cable hip raises, than KM stretch

Susan, I do have a multi disc player hooked up to a television w/ a dvd player in it. I sometimes just choose to switch them out on the tv. Although like today I had KM in the tv and did ctx from the multi player so I could stop throuh KM. The volume goes down when I use the multi disc player because of the way I have it hooked up. It does allow me to have up to six dvd's loaded at the same time between the two, which is nice. That is good it was just the hot tub. It would be sad to have to give up strawberries:(

Well I just got done with my workout!! YAY I did GS biceps and kickmax bootcamp. Ya know I think these GS are starting to give me some more definition. I could REALLY see it today when I was flexing those biceps during my workout:7

Lora I'm SORRY I don't mean to tempt you, but it helps to talk about it ha ha. Today I took my dd (5year old) to the dollar store and they had LEMONheads. Yes.... another one of those things I like to buy myself and hide from the kids.

Hey Susan I think you could be onto something I am lifting heavier and I have been having MORE of those weird cravings than usual?? But I have also increased my cardio???

I missed your post yesterday. I think the May rotation looks like a good one. I feel like if maybe I really did one time a week, not sure if I can do that:) I might make those mass gains where I want them. Maybe I could actually go heavier. Also lowering cardio is not easy for me, I love doing it. Two times a week has been pretty efective for me. Lately , I have been trying to put in the exercises that make the difference in each workout for lower, ie leg press with the high step, floor work, those deadlifts and leg extensions. I really notice a difference when one of these is eliminated from a rotation. The Pyramids have most of these in them. I just don't feel like I stay at my heaviest with them. Try them once a week and do S&H once a week if you can. I have done this. It was pretty good. I like a workout that gets in more than one or two sets of each exercise at least once a week. Unless I feel the need for a rest or light week.
