Hardcore Rotation Checkin for Thursday July 28

Morning Everyone,

This morning I did Christi Taylor's Hi/Lo Heaven. I'll probably be doing this DVD for the next couple of weeks to make sure I can follow the coreography (so I see if I need to return it). It was fun, but I got totally lost on the second segment and my foot couldn't take all of the impact, so I eventually went on my rebounder. I'm still in the final healing phase with this foot. I also did P90 Ab Ripper 2.

Hello Guys!!

This morning I did IMAX 2. It was a good workout, but I guess since I love IMAX 3 so much...IMAX 2 is pretty easy. Still a nice change of pace though. The weather is absolutely gorgeous so I may be tempted to go for a run this afternoon....we'll see. I also have a cardio/weights class to teach this evening.

Yesterday I was able to get in my 200 walking lunges and stability ball work so that was a good thing.

Lora...are you seeing results from switching things up??

Sabrina...glad the kids are feeling better! Did you do KPC?

Dallas...so you did GS C&T yesterday too? That's a tough one...I used to have problems with the cross body extensions as well...just lower the weight as you did, I think it's less risk of injury that way.

Nicole...I suck at recruitement as you can tell!! Good thing I've got you on my side!!

Beverly...can't wait to see what trick you pull out your sleeve today...

Momma Susan!! You didn't start that rotation...so what are you up too??

Hi Ladies,

I did a 5.5 mile run last night and the weights and abs from C&W.

Today will be a run and probably some leg work.. :) We will see what the day brings...

The weather has only been in the 80s here the past few days. It feels so nice. Those low 100s were pushing it for me...

Good Morning Everyone!

I messed up the rotation that I'm following. I was supposed to do GS C&T w/light run today. Yesterday was supposed to be GSL standing only. Oh well! Maybe it's for the best during my run yesterday outside I could feel that pain in my hip flexor. I walked a little and then finished. Overall I got 36 minutes in.

I didn't work out this morning as I'm packing the car to go the beach with the kids. I picked my kids up last night and they were all kick boxing in the driveway even my FIL! I guess they did a little of the DVD everyday.

Lora ~ Hope you're sleeping better. Glad to hear your foot is almost recovered.

Marietta ~ thanks for the advice. You got a great work out in yesterday.

Nicole ~ I second at what Marietta said about recruiting!:-( Hey, the more the merrier!!:)

Sabrina ~ I ordered those capri's from sandiegofit.com. Hope your house is back to normal.

Susan ~ I'm amazed at your work outs being pregnant and all. That's awesome! That must mean you're feeling great.

Hey everyone,

Marietta, I've been kind of doing the same routine all month. Mon. MM. Tues, leg endurance and/or cardio, Wed. GSCT, Thursday GSBSB Friday Heavy legs.

Ok, Ok, you guys talked me into it. I'll do the entire CTX Faux rotation. I know I'll definitely be modifying the blasts in IMAX3. When are you starting?

This morning I did GSBSB. My shoulders were so tired; it was difficult washing my hair!

Lora, I bet you'll see results from changing your workouts around. I had used Cathe's DVD's for years, but when the Body Blast series came out, I really saw changes, in fat loss and muscle definition.

Yesterday my son (5) put a tiny bead up his nose! He's never done anything like that before, not even as a baby. Luckily, they had him blow his nose a lot and it came out. One of the workers at the daycare was so stressed out about it, she left to go workout. Nice excuse huh?

Today I will do Tone it up:D I tell ya these REALLY work your abs,hips,thighs!! They don't have the FUN factor Cathes do, but boy do they do the job!

Susan your story of your son reminded me of me:7 My Uncle used to tell me when I was 4 that there was silver up my nose:+ Well guess what I did........ I made that happen....... I stuffed my nose full of tin foil :eek: Ha ha. Hey I am HAPPY to hear you are joining us in our rotation!! This is going to be FUN!! We start August 8th :D

Maybe I should try this rotation for a couple of weeks next! I'm going to see what Cathe puts up for August before I decide what I'm doing.

Right now, I've been doing some Slim Series mixed in with other various workouts. I've been trying to do one heavier weight workout a week though and extra cardio and really just changing everything. So far, I think I lost 1 pound...but right now I can't really tell cuz it's the wrong time of the month! I'm debating doing Power Half Hour (but for longer than 1/2 hour) tomorrow for my workout.
