Hardcore Fitness Maniacs March 2026

Ok, I just signed up for Cathe Live and received $50 off for a years subscription. So I forgot to do some research, will I be able to use this on my Roku TV? I think I did when I had the subscription before. I sure hope I can or it was just a waste of money. Let me know, those of you who use it.

Thanks!

Debbie, I do not know but I would be interested to know

Today was a leg day for me. Yesterday was upper body doing mostly strength workouts as next Tuesday I leave for Key West so I’ll just be doing a lot of walking there.

So apparently you can use Roku which is awesome I started a thread on the Live/On Demand section of the forums and someone already answered. If any of you would like to read about , click the link below:

Today I did a Lauren Cardio and a Compound Weight workout, 45 minutes, 204 calories. It was not a real fast workout and low weights. I increased to 8# ad 5# Lauren was using seemed really light. I would have done LMR 2 PHA, but my dd was working out and I just did this in our room.

Debbie, I have used both Fire TV and Roku to do Cathe Live. I am glad that you figured it out. Sorry that you keep waking up late. My dog gets me up pretty early in the mornings since he is in the room with us.

Roselyn, nice job on leg day.

Hi,

Today I did SBF barre circuit full body plus Pilates balance on the mat. I bought a new Apple Watch 11 today. So far I like it.

Had to take Sadie to the vet today. She has about her breathing. The vet took x-rays everything looks good. Except her heart is large. She ask me if I feed her grain free food. I need to feed her dog food with grains like rice. She will be tested again in a few months. Sadie is doing great.

Debbie. - enjoy Cathe Live. My subscription is running out next month. Not sure if I sign up again. You got extra sleep. Lately I am beat.

Diane - great job on Elevated UB/stretch and Cardio Compound weights. I did something similar today. I defiantly need to stay on track and keep up with balance moves.

Roslyn - enjoy the Key‘s.

Good night.

Debbie how did you get $50 off Cathe Live? I don‘t see a coupon for it except for OnDemand + Live?

Today I did CL #344 - upper Body Blast - the same one Jolie did a few days ago. I don't know, Jolie, this one didn't feel slow and controlled to me. LOL!! I feel Cathe always has to go so fast with her reps and that's where I start getting injured. I went slower than she did but she sure did seem to be rushing through the exercises to me.

I didn't write the exercises down and not sure I will be when doing these workouts. Unless it's one I absolutely loved and know I will be doing it again. This one had 4 sections - Biceps/Back, Shoulders/Chest, Triceps/Chest and Core. I used 10's, 12's and 15's for the workout plus my stability ball.

Workout was 50 minutes, burned 250 calories and HR was 107/142.

Cathe Live does work with Roku so YAY!! I can't believe how many workouts are out there. Incredible.

Diane - Nice workout! Yes, I'm glad we are able to sleep better. It's so hard when animals are waking you up every few hours during the night. Lately, mine have been nice and quiet.

Belinda - Great workout. I hope Sadie is ok. We had to take my moms cat to the vet last week and she has early stages of kidney disease. :( We had to put her on a special diet and so far she likes it. It's so expensive, though!! Hmmm, I may have purchased both OnDemand and Live. What is OnDemand? Are those her DVD workouts online? That would be awesome. Anyways, it was $240 and with the $50 it was $190.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Debbie - looks like you have OnDemand (all Cathe‘s DVD’s with all the premixes) + Cathe Live. I was wondering, I didn‘t didn‘t see a $50 off the Live, which I got. It come out to $89 a year. You can do all kinds of stuff like creating your own premixes with OnDemand. Have fun. Some of Cathe‘s older workouts she does go slower than usual. Great job today. Sadie is ok, I bought her dog food with rice, she doesn‘t like it. The vet was expensive yesterday. Cheaper than getting insurance for her.

I did live zoom Pilates with the circle. She is very creative with the circle plus balance work. I also did SBF Stopwatch abs.

I have a nuclear stress test early in the morning. I will be gone all day long. My plan is to get up very early and try to get a workout in. We shall see.

Have a great evening.

Today I did LMR 2 Elevated Cardio Hiit using 10# db for the weight/core segments, 228 minutes, 170 calories, heart rate 128/147. I did the low impact modifiers. Today we went for my husband's mri and stopped to eat on the way home. I was lucky getting something in.

Debbie, that should be the On Demand and Live both. That is what I have, but I just paid 19.95 for one month. I will see if I keep it up. I did it because setting up my dvd player would have to be in the bedroom and there is not a lot of room as we have a lot of stuff in here. They do not have a tv in their workout room. You can get all of the dvds so have fun. You can print out worksheets for the on demand dvds. I used to try to write down the move in live workouts, but it is a lot of work and slows things down. Plus, I did not love all of them. I do like the variety and new things to look forward to. Cathe does move pretty fast in a lot of workouts.

Belinda, nice work on zoom pilates circle and SBF stop watch abs. It is fun to get a new watch with all the new features. I have a Samsung one my husband never uses and thought about playing around with it even though I still love my Garmin. Is that different from a chemical stress test? I had a chemical one last year. I think I will avoid having another one though because of safety factors of chemically stressing the heart on elderly people. I watched a video that made me worried.

I walked four miles yesterday and was supposed to do a weight workout today, but I was too sore from lifting weights. Tomorrow will be a rest day; I have to take the pup to the groomers first thing in the morning and then do a bunch of errands. I will do a CL workout on Thursday and on the weekend. Taking full time care of an 89-year-old woman is a full-time job! My mom is just not the same since her brain surgery and all she wants to do is eat! She never ate a lot prior to the surgery, isn't that weird? Also, I have to remind her to do everything, even to use the restroom. They told us that we should just be happy that she is alive, that she will have good days and bad days and boy was her surgeon right. I told her if she wants to live with me she is going to eat healthier and start some walking and exercises in a chair and she stuck her tongue out at me. The care givers have done everything for her and she think I am going to do the same thing. I told her sorry sister, not a chance.

Debbie, I used heavier weights in that workout in places and just went slower than Cathe. I do that in all of her workouts because I could NEVER do rear delt flies as quickly as she does them. Why does she want to use momentum when she always says go slow and controlled? I always change up the workouts to suit my own needs, it works better that way. Any workout that she uses a ball is usually slow because she would bounce right off the darn thing if she went fast. What coupon did you use for the $50 off? I just signed up for month to month.

Diane Sue, what is LMR workout? Great job by the way!

Belinda, nice job on the workouts. I would love a new watch; I have to do some investigating on which one to get. I have not used one in a long time; I started to over train and got myself into trouble with injuries. I always wanted to hit a specific number and that was not good for me.

I have to say, it feels good to be back!
