Good morning,

We left Tennessee. The hotel room AC was broken, it was so cold I couldn’t sleep. We had maintenance come twice last night, he couldn’t fix it. I am super tired today.

I did a standing Pilates last night, need to stretch.

We got in a car accident on our way home today. My car is totaled. We were lucky with some bruises and scratches. The accident happened 4 hours from our house. We could not get a one way car rental at this tiny airport. We decided to take a hotel since we were so shaken up. My arm is bruised up from the seat belt. Our daughter booked us this fancy hotel, the tow truck pulling up and letting us out the stuff of the Hotel were all so nice and help us empty our car and putting it on a cart for us.
 
No workout today, I did my stretches instead. Stood a lot this weekend and then I tried to pull weeks in my flower garden and my hip area with the pinched nerve did not like it. I had to stop. So the stretching helped.

Hopefully I'll get a workout of some kind in tomorrow.

Belinda, I am so sorry about the accident. I am glad you are both alright. My granddaughter had bruising from the seat belt too.

Debbie, stretching sounds like a good idea. Gardening is a lot of work. I hate pulling weeds.

Today I did Lauren Band Strength workout, 26 minutes, 108 calories and Standing Stretch, Strength, and Mobility, 23 minutes, 85 calories. At least I got something in as we had to go out earlier to do some stuff at the bank. I got woke up too early.
 
Evening,

We are home. Today I did M2 W1 D13 plus Pilates.

I am in the hospital getting checked out, my neck/ side of my face and ear is hurting like crazy. I am also having pain behind my eye/ headaches. My knee is hurting also. I did a CT scan, waiting for the results.

Diane- thank you. The brusing on my arm is big. The doctor is concerned about my neck and pain behind my eye ball. I hope we get to leave soon.

This morning I did RAW 1 Body Part - Chest and had a great workout.

4 sets of 10 reps and is in circuit fashion. By the 4th set I was burning!!

Incline Flies: 15's
Flat Connected Press: 20's
Flat Bench Press: 20's
Did 4 sets/10 reps

FINISHER:
Altogether, flowing through each exercises:
Close Grip Press
Chest Flies
Pullovers

I used 10's for this and did 9 reps

Workout was 26 minutes, burned 160 calories, HR was 114/149.

Belinda - I'm so sorry to hear you were in an accident! I missed that yesterday for some reason. I sure hope you are ok, I'm glad you are getting checked out. What happened? Were you on a highway? People just can't seem to drive anymore. I got rid of my bike just yesterday for that exact reason. I am praying you will be better in a few days. You probably got whiplash.

Diane - I just can't do flower beds anymore. If it's not where the pinched nerve is that hurst, it's my upper back. It's just not worth it anymore. I'm sad to say that as I've always loved my flowers. We decided to get fake plants and honestly, they look amazing. Gives our house color and no watering. Best part of it!! Good job getting a workout in!!

A quick check in here. No workouts the past week, my life is so stressful, and I have just been walking the dog. Trying to get everything done, list the house to sell, sell the cars, remodel bathroom and bedroom for my mom and deal with a crazy sister who is trying to blackmail me for money and a car! I am so done with all of this shit that comes with the death of a parent. It has been nonstop every single day for 10 weeks! Get your affairs in ladies because this is not an easy thing to go through. I hope to start back at my workouts this week sometime or next. I miss my check ins, but I am too overwhelmed to workout

Today is my 60th birthday and I called my mom first thing in the morning and I noticed she was slurring her words. I called 911 and called the caregiver to go to the ER. It is confirmed that she had a stroke on her right side. Her face is drooping and her words are slurred but she is cognitive and can speak to me. She was unaware that she had a stroke. I cannot handle any more stress. Pray for my mom Dorothy please! When will this all stop? I am so sad.

No workout today. I got up at 6:30 with dog and get him some exercise before we left to look at another house. I am so tired lately that I sit down and fall asleep. I try to stay awake. Hopefully tomorrow if the realtor does not come up with another home for us. The one we looked at was 40 minutes away from where we are staying. It is old but well kept, things to fix. The lot is really big which means lots of yard work. Small bedrooms like most older homes, a basement which was a surprise. My husband looked in it with a cell phone for light. Couldn't find a light switch. Updated kitchen looked nice other than some painting cabinets and cleaning appliance. One bath though and I really want at least two.

Jolie, praying for your mom, Dorothy. It sounds like you need something to help relax. I am sorry that your sister is giving you extra problems.

Belinda, I am sorry that you are having those problems. I hope they figure it out. Nice job on Meso 2 WK 1 day 13 and pilates.

Debbie, good job on Raw Day 1 Body Part Chest. I love having flowers. My daughter has beautiful flower beds. One by the pool area. She put out some artificial plants and her live ones are taking over which is so much better. Her mornings that she is off she works out and heads out to work in her flower beds. It is a lot harder for me too.

Roselyn, nice work on back and biceps today.

I took it easy yesterday. After a few hours of sleep, I did one dance live class plus Pilates in the evening. Went to bed early. I guess, I needed that sleep. I am doing fine.

Diane - thank you. I am feeling so much better except my left side of my head/neck/ear. Do you like the house you saw yesterday? Sounds great.

Jolie - happy birthday! Praying for your mama, Dorothy! I am so sorry you going through this. Praying for you.

Debbie - we dropped of our RV at Red Bay, AL. The accident happened about 3 hours from our house on the highway. A truck in front of us slammed on this brakes, my husband rear ended the truck. We couldn’t go fast because of the traffic. No air bags inflated. It was one of those monster trucks, he had a few scratches. I have a Kia sports model, which we only use when we travel in the RV.

It is so hard to do this at this stage of our parents' lives. So sad for all involved. I'm sure you didn't have much of a birthday, but Happy Birthday! We are now both the same age. SCARY!!

Roselyn - Nice job on your workout. How are you doing? I hope you are finding peace now and cherishing our mom's memory. Hugs.

Diane - Watch houses with basements, most flood. I wish we had a basement but then again, I'm glad we don't because we get flooding where I live all the time. A basement would be a nightmare for us.

Belinda - So glad to hear you are doing fine, that is great news. I was worried about you. Maybe put a heat pad on your neck, that might help. Wow, that is scary about the accident. I've been there and done that as well before. I'm not familiar with Four Season Fitness?

Today I did Lauren Cardio Hiit All Standing Low Impact, 25 minutes114 calories, heart rate 112/147 followed by Strengthen Your Bones & Balance, with weights, 35 minutes, 129 calories, heart rate 96/130. She used 10# dumbbells. No workout in the morning tomorrow as we have a house viewing.
 
My pinched nerve issue has been bothering me again. I'm not sure if it's because I'm working out again or what? So today I just stretched my hip and also my upper back with the PT moves I used in the past. I am having issues with my upper back again and I'm not sure why? When I'm doing the dishes, my middle and upper back just burn. Geez, WTF?? So I figure I better lay off the workouts again for a few days. Great.

Belinda - Wow, Cathe's gym might be closing?? Is it actually Cathe's or is she just renting space? I can't imagine with all the money Cathe makes that she would need to close the gym. I hope not, that is sad. Has Cathe said anything about it? I checked the Open Forums and Ask Cathe but I only see a thread from one of the members. Nice workout!!
