Hardcore Fitness Maniacs for Thurs Dec 27

I ended up doing the new Star Trainer's Cardio DVD I just got. I did Violet Zaki's Martial Arts one, Rob Glicks and part of Kendall Hogan's. I upped the intensity a bit with double timed moves and plyo, etc. Workout was 75" and I burned 722 calories. Still trying to burn some of my chocolate binge off.

I also did Back to Health Yoga for Low Back Pain 20" and Ravi & Ana's Dr. HOuse Call - Power Surge Warm up and the Immunity Invigorator session...as I'm still fighting this upper respiratory thing off. I've been sucking on Zinc lozenges all week. Have a horrid migraine...due to start.

This morning was cardio. I did Cardio Coach #7. Wasn't able to do it like the last time when I met my goals, but since I've eaten nothing but junk for the last week plus not doing a whole lot of cardio, it was understandable.

Still had a great workout and sweated buckets! My HRM was dead on the entire workout!! Woo hoo!!!

Toasty - thanks.........I like them both equally and am an indecisive Libra!!! Keep an eye out for the Lupercalia update on BPAL. It's the Valentines' Day one......last year it came out on the 2nd of January! Did you get P Roach's Paramour Sessions for X-mas?? If not, let me know and I will burn it for you! will need your addy too. You MUST have this freakin' DVD rocker chick! (ETA - just remembered.....I have the Triple Dagger tee shirt to go with them!! LOL).
 
Boy am I getting spoiled from being off of work this week......and now I don't want to go back.....but I need that small pay check. Let's hope I can get up early again after sleeping in all week.

Toasty - I threw a little surprise in with your CD!! Can't wait for you to rock out to Papa Roach. I've had it in my CD player since the concert in August!! I'm a freak! The one Medical Asst at work that I was unsure of at first is a hard rocker ...and she drives a Harley. She said I didn't look like the "hard rock" type! I guess that goes to prove that looks are deceiving. What movie did you go to on X-mas Eve? I've been dying to know. Did you order any of the Phoenixes or Honey Mone?

I got my Biggest Loser DVDs today and previewed a bit of the CArdio Max one. Bob Harper does the warmup, cooldown and a 20 minute cardio session and Jillian only does a 10 minute one. I just love love love Bob Harper.......and his tattoos don't hurt any!! LOL. Jillian looks like she bulked up a bit on this DVD. I can't stand that other instructor....Kim Lyons...but she does a kickbox segment that looks decent. By the way, I have WAY too many DVDS......they are taking over the house. Some day, I need to decide on my box of the ones I"m unsure of and try swapping some of them on VF.

I bet you ladies will all be glad when I go back to work and quit babbling here all day.

Good Afternoon Maniacs,

Some of you (Diane Sue and Lora) make my head spin with all the various dvd's you combine for your workouts. I get dizzy just reading the lists!

I feel great! No sugar yesterday and no sugar today! I woke up with a stuffy nose and a what felt like the beginning of a headache and a thought oh no I am getting sick again. Then I realize it is just probably the sugar detox!

Debbie - good news about HRM and great going with the eating. It's nice to know that everyone else struggles sometimes too.

Today was cardio and I did 4DS LIS & HIS double cardio. I really like these workouts. I felt like I should of done something harder to make up for the horrendous eating, but just didn't feel like it!

We went to see National Treasure. Hubby and I didn't like it. Kids did. Rented a bunch of movies over the past few days too....
Chuck and Larry, I know who killed me, Stardust and The Number 23. I thought Chuck and Larry was very funny and I know who killed me was like Saw in a few parts (EGADS)..haven't seen Stardust yet and I didn't like The Number 23..it was too weird even for myself.

I get people all the time thinking I am a certain way...quiet, etc. They have no idea how crazy the quiet ones are then. lol.
I don't like Kim Lyons AT ALL! Jillian has ALWAYS been my favorite. Was curious about the biggest loser workout, but just gonna get the new P90X here soon.
 
I went back later and did Stott Pilates foam roller Challenge. Today I made a soup recipe from Oxygen Clean Eating issue. It was called Sancocho and had chicken and sweet potatoes in it. I added extra chicken and more no sodium broth. THis was a good soup recipe. I had some for lunch and some mid afternoon. Dinner was a salad with grilled chicken. I also had a coffee protein powder smoothie. I ordered P90X+ a little while before I recieved an e mail from them :D I am looking forward to this.

Linda, I really like mixing portions of various workouts LOL Sometimes I feel like I get the best of them that way. Sometimes I just put together the fun parts that I am in the mood for.
