Hi, sorry for not checking in. We had so many problems with the Airbnb, we left on Saturday. A hug cockroach jumped out of DD makeup remover, she almost threw out her back. The host was so rude, luckily I took pictures/videos from the condo. DD contacted the Airbnb directly with videos and texts messages from the host. DD and I checked in The Setai hotel on Miami Beach. It’s a 5 star hotel. They got us a doggy bed and toy for Sadie. I think after our experience at the Airbnb DD is done renting. You can’t beat a nice hotel. I have not worked out since last Friday. Been relaxing and enjoying my stay at the resort. I will try to take another in person dance class tomorrow. I will try to catch up on personals tomorrow.

This morning I did one I haven't done since 2021!! It's RAW Cardio Weight Tabata Intervals and it was ok, pretty fun. It had compound exercises which I really don't care for but this one sort of fun. I changed some of the plank exercises and just did other ab work. I had a great workout.

Workout was 33 minutes, burned 222 calories, did 1499 steps and HR was 122/165.

I also did my hip stretches. Oy, my hips are so tight! I don't get it.

Belinda - OMG with the AirBNB!!! That is crazy. I have the same concern if I try to rent one of those. Usually we just get a hotel, it's easier. Yikes!!

Quick check in as we have a follow up dr appointment today. I did Lauren, Workout for weight loss cardio and Strength with dumbbells,, 208 calories, 40 minutes, HR 116/141.

Debbie, my daughter is a dermatologist:) She is well liked and overbooked.

Belinda, that is terrible about cockroaches. I would have been squealing. So gross!
 
No workout for me today, I had to go into work early.

Diane - Great job getting a workout in!! Oh yea, I remember now about your daughter being a dermatologist. I forgot!!

Today I did Lauren Cardio Dance/Barre Inspired, 25 minutes, 107 calories, HR 100/124 followed by Lauren Upper Body Strength 1 Dumbbell, 24 minutes, 121 calories, HR 111/137.
 
Evening,

I am home. I did ended up at the ER today for my right eye. Woke up this morning, could hardly open my eye. It’s so swollen and infected. The doctor at the ER put me on antibiotics tablets and antibiotics cream for my eye. I been googling my eye situations, they keep telling me it’s a stye? I was my eyes twice a day with baby shampoo, massages my eyes to get the oil glance to open up, I put heat on it a few times a day. I do everything I was told to do, why on earth is my right eye swollen too? After doing a google search it could also be inflammatory. I don’t touch my eyes.

Diane - great job on your workouts. I hope your appointment went well. That thing was huge and fast.

Debbie - I‘ll be honest, I tried Airbnb 3 times with my kids, they just not as clean as a hotel, IMO. I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. Nothing was working in the Airbnb, not even the coffee maker. We got locked out the first 3 day’s, the door look had computer problems. I was ticked off. The condo was in a nice location, very run down, IMO. The host called it wear and tear, lol. cockroaches on the 18th floor beach front, was a no no for us. That thing was huge and so fast.

I will be back tomorrow. I am so tired.

Today I did a long walk outside. Felt good to move my legs.

I will start Lift, Move and Restore on Monday.

Debbie, I am getting a lot of rest right now. I am sure moving is going to be a lot of work when the time comes here so I am not too worried about all of the rest time. There is a surprise birthday party here this weekend for my granddaughter so I am sure I will not get a workout in.

Diane - I did in person live classes at the studio. Which was so cool. My instructor asked me to dance next to her in front of the camera. It was a special experience for DD and me. We also got to hang out after class with my dance instructor and girls from the studio. We went to a nice restaurant and a great time. My instructor also invited us to her house for lunch. She is so down to earth and beautiful. I learned a lot while dancing next to her. She is so cool.
 
Evening

I did 2 hours dance workshop, the theme was country line dancing/belly dancing. So fun.

Roselyn - I am so glad you feeling better. Good job on your Chest workout today.

Hi all. Wow, what crazy weather we had this weekend. Saturday we had a tornado scare while my mom and I were in church. Crazy!! No tornado, thank God, but still, it was quite chaotic when all the cell phones went off with the emergency warnings.

This morning I did Box & Pump 8 and had a great workout. I love this one, I think it's almost my favorite B&P workout.

Workout was 43 minutes, burned 241 calories, did 1790 steps and HR was 111/161.

Belinda - Great job getting out for your walk. The weather is finally cooling down and making it better to go outside.

Roselyn - I'm thinking about doing the 2nd STS as well. Maybe I'll start it next week. That is a fun set of workouts.

Jolie - Did you receive your order yet?

Hi all, this morning I did RAW Burn Sets Upper Body and had a great workout. I'm a bit worried because it seems like I have lost a lot of strength. I hope it comes back, it worries me. I had issues completing the entire 45 seconds after the 2nd set and don't remember having that issue before. I did them, but stopped early. I need to start working on my weight lifting again. I think I might do STS #2 next week for a few weeks or until I get bored with it.

Workout was 44 minutes, burned 275 calories and HR was 120/152.

Belinda - Great job on your workout. I hear we will be getting the humidity back soon. Boo!!! I'm ready for fall, it's been a hot and humid summer.

Today I did CDorner Strong Sculpted Arms, 26 minutes, 104 calories, hr 98/131. Followed with Lauren, Walking Workout for Cardio & Strength Intervals using 1# weights, 31 minutes, 161 calories, HR 119/146. We had to go take care of business yesterday since we close on our house Monday. Then we took youngest daughter and grandson to dinner for her birthday. Lots of busy days with appointments. I am trying to be easy on my knee. I see my arthritis Dr the 2nd. I did see the results of the mri online. Most stuff was obvious with osteoarthritis severity. Worst seems there is a really thin ACL and part of miniscus, but it is still intact whatever that means. Felt good to get in a workout today.
 
Hi,

today I did 2 hours dancing plus Lift Move & Restore Functional Yoga. I also did some Pilates stretching.
I have a very early eye doctor appointment. My eye is feeling a little better being on antibiotics. I just don’t get why this is happening.

Debbie - great job on your workout. Yikes, on the humidity. It gets in the 50’s here at night. I love summer with no humidity.

Diane - great job on your workout today. Sorry you going through so much. Hope your appointment goes well on the 2nd.

This morning I did RAW Shadow Boxing 1 and had a great workout. Wow am I tired. These early mornings are killing me. But I am getting in some good workouts.

Workout was 42 minutes, burned 338 calories, did 3398 steps and HR was 131/163.

Diane - Nice job on your workouts yesterday. I'm glad you were able to get a workout in. Tell us a little bit about your new house. Will you be able to move in right away or do you have to do some work on it first?

Belinda - Great job with your dance workout! I'm glad your eyes are doing better, that is so scary when something goes wrong with the eyes. Hopefully you will be back to normal soon!!

Jolie, Roxie and Roselyn - Hope you are all doing good!!!

We got one of those robot lawn mowers, OMG is that thing cool! We set it up yesterday and it started cutting our front lawn. It takes a few hours but it did a great job. My brother got us interested in buying one. He's had one all summer and his does a wonderful job on his huge yard.

Hi,

Today I had a follow up appointment with the ophthalmologists. She thinks the swelling stye in my eyes are caused by my immune depressant medication. I started a new immune depressant medication about 3 month ago. I was getting very nauseous on the meds, my joints are killing me. My kidney numbers are high . The ophthalmologist wants me to on a month long antibiotic starting in 2 weeks. I am already on antibiotics. I sent the report to my rheumatologist with pictures of my right eye. She doesn’t think as long as I am on those immune depressant medications I will get those skin lesions (stye) on my eyes.

I did LMR Lower body + Pilates hips/pelvic.

Diane - congratulations on the new house. How exciting.

Debbie - thank you! my right eye is feeling better, it’s still concerning. It improved since I am on antibiotics. What is the brand of your lawn mower? I have sweep/mop robots in my house. They do an amazing job!!

Roselyn - good job with your PT.

This morning I did RAW Burn Sets Lower Body and had a good workout. My legs were on fire with this one.

Workout was 45 minutes, burned 210 calories and HR was 101/135.

Roselyn - Great job with your Triceps workout. I'm looking forward to doing some STS 2 workouts next week.

Belinda - Seems you are getting different theories from different doctors. How frustrating. They just need to figure it out. I hope the antibiotics help with your eyes. I'm sorry your joints are hurting you again, that isn't good. Hope you start feeling better soon. We have the Worx lawn mower. It works very well and our yard look amazing. I also have a robot vacuum and mop station, I have one upstairs and one downstairs. I love them. It's so nice not to have to vacuum and mop, I sure hated that job!!

Jolie seemed to have disappeared again. Same with Roxie. Where are you ladies? Hope all is well!

Yesterday I did Lauren Japanese Walking Intervals. 35 minutes, 246 calories, HR 143/169 and Her Mobility Stretch and osteoporosis friendly abs, 34 minutes, 107 calories, HR 88/129. Total time 69 minutes, 353 calories.
Today I did Lauren Strength With a Vibration Plate and 12# dumbbell, 17 minutes, 65 calories, and Dance Cardio Mash Up 26 minutes, 165 calories, HR 129/162. I finished with a bit of CDorner's latest stretch(too much twisting) so did my own stretches, 17 minutes, 46 calories.
I doubt I will get workouts in till middle of next week because we have a lot going on.
We have a painter that will paint the interior and garage starting as soon as we close Monday and give him a key. Once the garage is done we will start taking some stuff over as family is able to help. Hopefully we can at least get things set so we can move in soon. We don't need everything we have moved in fast. Just essentials. It is close to the size of our last house which is great for the price. We also have to buy some appliances so having it painted before refrigerator and washer and dryer are delivered will be good. It is well cared for. I guess the husband passed and the wife is selling it. They lived there many years so it is not a messed up rental. The walls are painted different colors and we are going for neutral throughout. One of the dining rooms (there is two) has a red wall. One bedroom has wallpaper on one wall. Everything is pretty clean except the garage.

Belinda, is it the eye you had the lens put in? My husband had his first cataract surgery a week ago and says it is still foggy. We go back for his follow up tomorrow. I see, it is the immunosuppressants. I worry about that with some of my other problems I have. I hope they can get that under control or figure out the problem. Nice work on LMR Lower body + Pilates hips/pelvic.

Debbie, good job on Raw Burn Sets Lower Body. I would love to have a robotic lawn mower. We had someone mow our lawn at the other house. I am not sure what we will do on this house. We have an electric lawn mower.

Today is my 74th birthday:oops:! Yikes! We are going to our favorite Italian restaurant today for my birthday. If I am not here for a while I am busy. I try to read your posts every day.
