Today I did STS Meso 2, Disc 13 and I worked Chest and Triceps skipping Shoulders. I haven't done this workout since July of 2023. Had a great workout, I liked this format. I used dumbbells for the whole things except one triceps exercise.

1 minute rest between each set
CHEST
Flat Barbell Bench Press Warmup: 15's - 12 reps/2 sets
Flat Barbell Bench Press: 20's - 12 reps; 25's - 10 & 8 reps
Flat Dumbbell Bench Flies: 15's - 12reps; 20's - 10 reps; 22.5's - 8 reps
Incline Barbell Bench Press: 22.5's - 12 reps; 25's - 12, 10 & 8 reps
Incline Dumbbell Flies: 20's - 12 reps; 22.5's - 12, 10 & 8 reps

TRICEPS
Lying Barbell Extensions: 25# - 12reps; 30# - 10 & 8 reps
Lying Barbell Extensions: 30# - 12 reps to failure
Side Leaning Triceps Extension: (I did Close Grip Bench Press): 35# - 12, 10 & 8 reps
One Arm Kickbacks: 8# - 12 reps; 10# - 10 & 8 reps

Burned 217 calories.

Then I got on my treadmill and walked 1.25 miles.
Total workout was 50 minutes, burned 434 calories and HR was 114/173.

Hope all of you had a great Easter. We had a good time with family and ate way too much. I'm off now until next Monday. I have a lot of things I need to get done around her.

Very sad to hear about Pope Francis.

I did sign up for CL subscription, I had good intentions to get a workout in. My TV in my gym stopped working. I had to buy a new tv today. Still haven‘t set it up. Hopefully after my infusion I have a chance to set it up and get a workout in.

Today I did Raw Upper Weights with Sammy, 32 minutes, 89 calories followed by Raw Yoga Stretch 14 minutes, 28 calories. Total time 44 minutes, 117 calories. I had my doctor's appointment this afternoon so managed a quick workout before I left today. My doctor has a specialist calling me to see about a procedure in that chronic partial compression fracture in my vertebrae. She says she has seen patients get it done and it stops the pain. They fill the space there with something like a cement that hardens like bone. She also ordered a bone density scan in that hip again.

Sorry I have been MIA but wow a lot to do over the holiday weekend. I did get some good workouts in even though I was busy. I stayed on my diet as good as I could, but I did eat out twice but only ate a salad and or some lean steak. Oh, I forgot about the garlic parmesan French fries :(
Friday, 4 mile walk
Saturday, CL All In Upper Body, 3 mile walk in the pm
Sunday, 4 mile walk in the am and 2 miles in the pm
Monday, 2 mile walk, I had to take my son to the airport so I was short on time.
Today I did Cathe STS Meso 2 Disc #19, Chest/Shoulders/Triceps and had a great workout. This is a long one due to the Double Wave Loads in each muscle groups, but I love this type of workout.

I have to go back and read the post from the past few days, but good job whomever got a workout in over the holiday weekend.

This morning I did RAW TLC Shadow Boxing. I've done this one a few times and each time I do it I like it more and more. Had a great workout. I used my 1.5# egg weights for half the workout, then my upper traps got tight and I put them down.

Workout was 40 minutes, burned 327 calories, did 3979 steps and HR was 140/181.

Roselyn - Good job with your workout.

Belinda - Bummer about your TV, I hate when that happens!!

Diane - Great job with your workout yesterday! I hope they can do something for you for the pain. That might be the way to go.

Jolie - Nice job with the workouts! I also ate bad this weekend but am now back on track.

My TV is up and running!!!! As much as I love technology, sometimes It‘s a pain in the butt.

I did CL# 539 Crushing Compounds. Great workout.

Debbie - it was an old TV I got a few years ago from my son. It was a smart tv, just outdated. The new TV has a lot of new stuff, I am not familiar with yet. It‘s big and I love it. Great job on your workout.

Diane - yeap, we all know the feeling then the TV stops running. I wasn‘t gonna spend a lot of $ on an TV. DH and I went to Costco yesterday, the salesman kept telling my DH I the best TV is the LG 65 Inche Class OLED evo C4 Series Smart TV 4K. The picture quality is amazing on that thing. I haven‘t had time to play around with the TV yet, except a few apps.

Good Afternoon,

Busy again running to eye doctor, still no contacts if this next pair which is the 10th pair doesn’t work I am giving up until after the summer is over. Watched the last soccer games for this year going to baseball tournament this weekend then we are headed to the lake for a week, long deserved vacation. I am back to walking regularly again and I have done the timesaver weight workouts a couple of times this morning was Push. I have been having blood pressure and heart rate issues again they are going to redo the stress test with an echocardiogram then see if my insurance will pay for a heart monitor they will implant that is good for 5 years it will automatically get in touch with a cardiologist if something is irregular. Expecting storms the next two days

Today I did LMR Functional Mobility Fusion, 43 minutes, 129 calories. My husband I took Harvey to the park later for a walk. He sure does not walk well. He tries to hide between our legs or just lay flat on the ground. We sat on some benches a couple of times just so he got more comfortable with other people around. We have a lot of work training on that.

Belinda - YAY on your TV, it sounds awesome. Did you get a 65" TV for your workout room? Holy moly!! Mine is like 42" if not smaller. Great job with your workout! I almost want to subscribe to CL but I just don't think I'll be doing those workouts much.

Roxie - Why are you having such a hard time with contacts? Are your eyes not shaped for them? That is crazy. Hope you can find a pair that works for you. Do you use soft or hard contacts?

Diane - Good job with your workout. Aww, poor Harvey. I'm sure he will get better as time goes by.

2.77 mile walk this morning now to time to clean the camper and then I will do another TBTS later.

Debbie-the contacts are hard and about the size of a quarter special made to fit my eyes because my right cornea is cone shape instead of round but it’s the left eye giving them the most trouble
 
Today I did CDorner Step basic cardio 80's that she did today. I got to 20 minutes and it stopped playing and said it was live. So I did not get the last 10 minutes, 118 calories, heart rate 114/146, 2,152 steps. I did LMR cardio bonus, 15 minutes, 105 calories, heart rate 144/170, 1,087 steps. I finished with LMR yoga mix sun salutations and warrior, 23 minutes and estimated 55 calories as I forgot to stop my Garmin. That was the only yoga mix I have not tried. It will not be a favorite for me. I almost did CDorner mobility today, but she told what was in it and I did not want that much on hands and movement. I guess I got the same with Cathe anyway. Total time was 58 minutes, 281 calories, 3,239 steps.

Today was a walk outside.

Debbie - yes, I got a 65 in my workout room. CL has some good workouts as far as I can tell. Especially her weight workout. Great job on STS M2 Back/biceps.

Diane - great job on CDorner Step basic cardio 80's + LMR cardio bonus + LMR yoga mix sun saturations and warrior. How did you like the yoga? I haven‘t done that one yet.

Roxie - sorry you have so much going on.

Roselyn - great job on max day 13 lower and upper body.

This morning I did STS Meso 2, Disc 13 - Shoulders. I did the chest and triceps part on Monday so today was just the shoulders part. Had an excellent workout.

SHOULDERS
Alternating Seated Front Press:
12's - 12/10/8 reps
Seated Front Press: 12's - 12 reps almost to failure
Alternating 1-Arm Lat Raise: 8# - 12/10/8 reps each arm
Seated Lateral Raise: 8's - 16 reps to almost to failure
Seated Rear Delt Raise: 12's - 12/10/8 reps

Then I did STS 2 Standing Metabolic Core workout. Love this workout. And then I got on my treadmill for about a mile.

Total workout was 1 hour, burned 410 calories and HR was 124/169.

Great workouts everyone. I don't have time for personals. Going to lunch with my little neighbor and I am taking her shopping. She's my adopted granddaughter. LOL!!

Today I went for a 3 mile walk outside plus CL# 538 Ripped with Reps. I had a great workout. So far, I am loving CL.

I posted yesterday but do not see me post! Wednesday I walked the dog 4 miles in the am and 2 miles in the pm. I slept so good and so did my dog. Thursday I did STS Meso 2 Disc #21 Back and Biceps and had a great workout. I love Meso 2, the format and the rest in between sets in a no rush format is for me! I will probably repeat this meso again once I am finished at the end of next week. Today I walked the dog 2.5 miles, I have an early appointment, and I am short on time today.

Debbie, I am so happy you are enjoying Meso 2 as well. We are lifting about the same weights on every exercise, I lift a bit lower on Chest Flys because I do not want to aggravate my collar bone issue. Happy 29th Anniversary!

Great job on the workouts everyone. I am running late for my Chiro appointment, so I have to go!

No workout yesterday. I had my bone density scan and yearly mammo. Today I did Raw Upper Body & Abs, with some adjustments on the abs since I looked up things to not do with fractures, spine issues etc.. This was 42 minutes, heart rate 91/136, 129 calories. I finished with a youtube spine and back stretch and the foam rolling portion for upper LMR, 25 minutes, 51 calories. Total time 66 minutes, 180 calories.

That is nice that Cathe has the stretch and flow CL. When I did her live workouts there was not any workouts like that unless the stretch was added at the end of a workout. It has been a long time since I did CL.
