This morning I did Kelly Coffey Cardio Pump workout 1 cardio boxing, 31 minutes, 191 calories. That is all that I had time for today
Debbie, I really think the Fit Bit does better with the step count and does not necessarily take in the heart rate. I get the same thing with using Fit Bit with Map My Fitness, both are using the same heart rate, but it depends on settings with Map My Fitness , for instance I get a lower calorie burn with aerobics as the setting than I get doing the same workout and using martial arts or cardio circuit. I just go ahead and use workout on the setting with the Fit Bit because no matter what I put, spinning, kickbox, etc.., it seems to be low. But, if I do something with a lot of steps, even it is a lighter workout, I get a higher calorie burn. It doesn't make sense. It is just a guideline anyway. At least you know you are not allowing yourself too many calories when you log nutrition if you use the Fit Bit stats. I also wonder if some of the updates have caused the Fit Bit Blaze to have a lower calorie burn. My averages have been much lower lately.
