Hard Core Fitness Maniacs for Fri. April 22

Today I did Mesocycle 2, Week 4 (Hypertrophy) have not done this cycle in a long time.
This was chest, shoulders and tris, then I did a 30 Hiit Tf and Tf 20 min abs.

This morning I got up at 4 to get my workout in. I did not get into bed as early as I would like to have. I started my workout with Urban Rebounding Extreme Amy Bento Kickbox Metabolic Interval 52 min 363 cal Max HR 154.
I was disappointed in this one. Amy used the a** word a lot in this and just did not act like herself. A big show of being tough. Then her form was not so great. The kickboxing used the sandweights for a lot of it. She did a cooldown at 34 min and abs. At 41 min she did the final stretch so it was an 11 min stretch. I will still do it but it was not my favorite so far and it was more the attitude than the workout that I did not care for. I followed this with Supreme 90 Day Ultimate Ball workout doing jumping jacks and run in place during most of the 30 min rests between exercises. Workout was 40 min and calories burned was 253. Total time spent was 93 min and calories burned 613:D

With yesterday's eats I added a protein shake in the evening. I felt I needed more calories.
 
Today was cardio and I had a bit more energy in me then I have this whole week. Not much, but some.

I chose Body Max 2, just the step segments. I honestly don't get the premix Cathe has on this DVD that says "Timesaver Step Only". When you choose that option it does the warmup and then jumps right into the finished step combos. Why doesn't she just do the first 3 step segments from the get go? I got so fruatrated I went back to the main menu and just chose to do the workout, then I stopped it after the 3rd step segment and went to the stretch. This was about 50 minutes long but that was adding the first part of the premix I tried to do.

Eats for today. Of course, being Catholic, it is Good Friday and a day of abstinence, so no snacks today:(

M1-oatmeal and fruit
M2-protein shake, with peanut butter
M3-fish, veggies (lots of veggies, this will be my last meal)
 
I get snacks today...I'm a Protestant. ;)

There was a lovely service at church today for Good Friday and I heard on the radio that some govt institutions/businesses actually close down for the day. That surprised me; I didn't think Good Friday was too well-known. The days that get holidays are heavily secularized and Good Friday isn't secularized at all, as far as I can tell.

Anyway, yesterday I did the legs timesaver from Amy Bento's All Pump Xtreme, which is 48 minutes, and then the abs from KPC.

Today my booty is pretty sore. I'm not sure what workout I'll do, or if for sure I'll work out, but it needs to be something that doesn't tax my poor booty too much.
 
I got errands ran today and I think I am free this weekend to try to finish painting my workout room and prepare for Easter Sunday:D I thought I might have to get up early just to get my workout in and head for the post office in the morning. But I do not have to. Have to worry over a couple of things but hopefully they workout if I don't drive around too much. The insurance guy that came to give me an estimate on my car said a check would be mailed. Well, I realized he did not have my correct address when coming here and called. I am hoping he corrected it after arriving. I tried calling the insurance office and no secretaries or anything. I got to leave a message. The thing is that tire is showing low air pressure now so worried about driving around too much. I don't have room in the pickup to drag children around with me:confused: Why did that woman have to hit me??:(

Debbie, I have done that premix so many times I guess I just got used to it that way. It always seemed to work for me. I guess I never thought about why they did it that way.

Hermia, I don't have to give up snacks either. I chose to today because I have had too many lately. That is nice that some government offices recognized Good Friday. I could really voice my opinion on this but I won't. I have a Hallmark Card program that I print calendars from that totally omits Easter but has many other religion's holidays other than Christian in and it makes me angry. I am looking for something else. Maybe I should just voice my opinion to them! Well, just a little rant about something that is bothering me.
 
Eats today:
1-coffee, Schwans triple berry blend, oatmeal, cinnamon, raw honey, heated in microwave, Myofusion Delicious Vanilla whey, plain kefir
2- 1 cup pasta with chipotle salsa and pepper
3- Sonic Grilled chicken salad that I bought home and added spinach and Jalapenos to with chipotle ranch dressing
4-protein shake
