For Those That Work With Glasses

I just got a new pair of glasses. I didnt notice at the time I picked them out, but the "designer's" name is located on both temples. I want to remove this. When I run my fingernail over the name, it appears raised and not acutally imbedded in the plastic.

How do I remove the name without ruining the frames?

I'm not sure. I have to see the glasses to tell, but you can call the store where you got them (or doctor's office if you got them there) and ask. Last year when I bought my new frames they were pinching my nose and I tried to fix them myself and I scratched one of the lenses. Then I had to use my warranty for that. When I went back to replace the lenses they taught me a couple of ways to make adjustments to my frames on my own without scratching them.
