For those of you working each body part one day per week

Once a week is enough for me, but I'm an ecto working with super heavy weight in the gym. When I was doing only Cathe weight workouts, I used to work legs twice a week.

One weighted leg workout per week is enough for me. My knees can't handle any more than that. I kickbox, use the leg conditioning drills in Kick Max, put in a floor work session and the blasts in Low Max. There are also yoga poses that strengthen the legs with isometric holds. I do those as well.

Angela, do you work your upper body only once a week too? (BTW, glad to see you posting again! I've been wondering where you've been.)

Caren,

Remember that everyone has different goals...depends on your goals as to how many times/week you need to do leg work. It also would depend on whether or not you do any other activities.

That's true Marietta. I should have been more detailed. I am just trying to lean out more, not gain any more muscle. In addition to weight training I do various step & kickboxing workouts, and I'm trying to get into running.

I use a leg workout once a week, but then I always do at least one cardio/leg circuit workout a week to, just to hit them twice. This also saves on time.

I mostly do two leg workouts a week. One heavy and the other endurance. When I belonged to a gym and was able to squat REAL heavy, once a week was enough.

I also do one weight workout a week in a addition to one circuit workout at week. So, I am basically hitting every body part twice.
