LOVE my pasta! Couldn't do without. We'll have pasta at least 1 to 3 times a week. I really like pasta primavera, DS loves when I make past vongole (pasta with mussels/clams/garlic). I am from Southern Germany, lots of Italian food. I make pasta with tomatoe sauce and mozarella, pasta with lentils, broccoli, leeks, carrots and LOTS of garlic, pasta with eggplant, sundried tomatoes and chilies and, yes, every once in a while, VERY unhealthy Spaghetti Carbonara. Pasta is so versatitle, you can make it very healthy, and not so healthy. I am a pasta addict and so are my kids. But I ALWAYS use whole wheat pasta.
