Extreme......

Hi Cathe,

It's Steve from the gym. Well, I can't believe I survived your new Extreme Step class. It was really worth it--I think it really did something to my love handles! I think I'll do better next time. I was really scared of the choreographed movements (I think that's what they're called). I lift regular weights most of the time and for 4 years have done Body Pump once a week. I think I'll alternate between BP and ES now once a week, depending on my schedule.

I have to tell you how much you are appreciated at our gym. Being in the people business myself (teacher), I have to say that your genuine concern in people really does inspire us to keep on trying to stay fit and healthy.

Happy Holidays!

Steve

I for one, am interested in what this new "Extreme Step" class is. }( }( Will we get to have it in a new DVD perhaps sometime soon in the future? :p :p

Hi Wanda,

It's very intense and you sweat bullets. I'm a guy who's used to weights and running, so I was a little awkward doing some of the movements. But I really enjoyed it and it challenged me in a new way.

Hi Steve,
I'm not a runner due to the steady state impact on the knees but I can survive Imax and Step Blast back to back. (just worked up to that recently :) ) Do you think I might could still be alive if I did the Extreme step or is it much harder than Imax? At one time I thought Nothing could be as hard as Imax! }( Doing bicep curls fast as in Muscle Endurance and Body Max, with a barbell is my worst problem. :p

Do you think if enough of us whine for an Extreme step workout we could get our wish? }(

Wanda, get an Urban Rebounder, you can jog on that with zip impact. It's great for doing MIC hi/lo and moves from Boot Camp and other Cathe videos that are high jump/high impact. I love mine.

Edith }(

Edith, where did you purchase your Urban Rebounder? I do not like hi/lo aerobics because all of the impact causes stiffness in my neck and I would be curious to see if doing the high impact on the rebounder would prevent that.
Thanks, Norma
