maybe i'm missing it, is there a listing of the estimated calories burned per video/dvd? i know it's impossible to give an exact number because there are too many factors for each individual, but just a general "Power Hour burns 250 - 350 calories" or something like that.

thanks bobbi! i've got this great software for my PDA and i'm trying to be very diligent about taking notes on everything. calories taken in, calories burned, etc...

I found another one that shows that a 110 lb person burns 6.7 calories per minute for intense aerbics whereas a 150 person burns 9.1. There's 40 lbs difference in their weight and 2.4 calories difference in their burn so thats .6 calories per 10 lbs. I weigh 120 so I burn 7.3 per minute so say 30 minutes of MIC hi/lo gets me 219 calories. At 130 a person burns 7.9 and gets 237, etc....

Seems like it should be alot higher, doesn't it? Other factors include lean body mass. Muscular people burn more calories, darn them!
