Energy...

I have a pretty good energy supply throughout the day. However for maybe the past week it's been a struggle to make it through a 45 minute workout. I just feel so drained and annoyed. I don't think it's boredom since I switch up my workouts consistently. Even afterward I just can't pull it together to do regular things. Also like most people around the 2-3pm hour I just get extremely tired. No, I'm not pregnant. Any clues???
 
This sounds like a description of how I feel when I'm leading up to needing a couple of rest days! Drag, drag, drag. I start feeling like a prisoner to my workout routine. I like to feel positive, so I take a break! Catch an extra hour of sleep! Recover!

Yep, sounds like it's time for a rest week. I'm on one right now as a matter of fact--more of a modified rest week b/c I'm still doing cardio. But I find when I stick to my routine consistently for several months & then all of a sudden start lifting LESS weight my muscles are telling me to rest.

Listen to your body. Take a break.
