Dyna Bands on Sale at FW Online

Cathlete
I just noticed that the 3-pack Dyna-Bands are on sale at Fitness Warehouse Online. They're normally $10.50 and are currently $6.00 (if you purchase online). The 3-pack includes the pink (light), green (medium), and purple (heavy) bands. I think Cathe uses the pink in Stretch Max and green in Muscle Max.

Just thought I give you all a heads up in case you're looking to buy these.

Off to workout!

The only ones that I could find at the fitnesswarehouse.com site were sold individually for $6.99 and were only three feet long. How long are the ones that are used for the new DVDs? I was just thinking I'd better order some Dynabands before the DVDs come out, as I only preordered three DVDs and won't be getting the free Dynaband.

Oops  , I see that Marla meant a different site (fwonline.com) where I see the three pack of Dynabands. I did notice that they are also three feet long. Also saw some that were four feet long. Which would be better for the new DVDs?

Thanks!

Heidi

Hi Heidi,

I do have the 3 foot bands. I mimicked the exercises shown in the pictures for Stretch Max and Muscle Max. The 3 foot size works well for me. If they were much longer there wouldn't be enough resistance -- especially the pink, which is super easy to pull. The green band is a little tougher, as it should be.

It looks like Cathe has the 3 foot bands, too -- but, of course, I can't be absolutely positive. The pink one is really, really easy to stretch out far.

Hope this helps.

Did you order yours from Fitness Wholesale? Is there any difference in the quality of the bands? Do we need different resistance bands for the Hardcore Series? Okay...one more question...}( If we ordered the entire Hardcore Series...isn't a band included? It has been so long that I have forgotten!;-)

Thanks for your help!

Karen

If you have ordered the 10 or the 11 dvd you will receive the green resistance band.

I ordered my Dyna-Bands from Fitness Wholesale Online (www.fwonline.com), only I ordered them before they were on sale. Not the first time I've narrowly missed a sale.:p

I only ordered 5 of the new DVDs, so I purchased my own Dyna-Bands -- plus, I wanted the pink band for Stretch Max, so I bought the 3-pack. I'm sure I'll end up using the purple one, too!

dynabands at power systems

HI All,

You can get the 4 ft. dynabands at power-systems.com, they have the green band, but the other colors are different than Cathe's, but I believe they work the same.

They also have the latex free bands.

Thanks, Marla, for the information on how to order these Dynabands! I'm so looking forward to getting the new DVDs and want to have all the equipment I need ready to go!

Kathryn,

Sorry if you were annoyed or somehow offended by the topic being posted here. It seemed to me that it might be more relevant here, since the open forum seems to be much less workout-related much of the time, and also because I see a lot of non-Cathe-question posts going on here, some of them downright silly (ex.: "too much").

This post was intended specifically to address the Hardcore series and the equipment used.

I don't understand why you're annoyed with this post, rather than some of the others posted on Ask Cathe. Either way, my apologies to you.

I realize my post was a bit brusque. Maybe because I've seen several posts here that are neither questions or comments to Cathe, and I finally said something. Sorry you're the one I took it out on!

As for the "too much" post, it may have been silly, but it WAS addressed to Cathe, as posts in this section are supposed to be.

Cathe: length of resistance bands used for hardcore se...

Actually I do have a question for Cathe--I'm hoping to get the official word of the length of the bands used for the new DVDs.

Thanks!

No problem. You're right. I just recently began to post and it appeared that holding to strict forum protocol wasn't taken very seriously (mostly because of the posts on "Ask Cathe"), or I would've been more careful about where I posted.

Live and learn. :D
