Does anyone else still have their Christmas tree up?

I have to admit that my tree is still up and may be for another couple of weeks. My excuse is this...we had scheduled a large painting/wallpapering project for the end of January, but the painter was ready early. Between packing up all our stuff and testing and finalizing colors, we never got around to taking down the tree. Now, since the tree is in the only room that isn't torn apart, I just can't bring myself to make a mess of that room too, so I'm leaving the tree up until the house is finished. I just hope I don't have reason to keep the tree up until February!

Anyone else with a tree still standing?

Yes - mine is up - my DD has not been home for Christmas in 3 years, the first of the three she was in Navy Bootcamp - she went straight to Iraq. The second one she was in Iraq, this third one she is in Bremerton WA and could not get her leave approved but she will be home in a week for two weeks. She is so homesick for family holiday activity that DH and I left the tree up and set aside all of her ornaments so she could hang them on the tree and enjoy it and we are going to have another Christmas dinner, so this year we will have Christmas in January!

Mine is still up. It looks so nice though. Rather take the time to go workout than take the tree down. Maybe I'll have my DH do it.}(
