Do your pets swim?

We have a pug and we canNOT keep him out of the pool! He is not crazy about actually splashing around in the water, but if I let him, he would spend hours sitting on the ladder biting water bubbles!

(The cats, on the other hand, run screeching through the house if we turn the faucet on too high, heh.)
 
My dog avoids water like the plague. He won't even walk near a sprinkler. He goes right out into the road to avoid it.
 
My mini doxie loves the pool and the bathtub. He begs to get into the tub so he could splash around. He paws and the water and bits the bubbles. And he'd do that for hours if we let him!
 
Oh yeah! We had 2 dachshunds that would jump in the lake to go after ducks--lol! It was a hoot! Don't worry, they never actually caught a duck, but it sure was fun watching them try.

We used to like to hold them just above the water and watch their little legs go:7 :7 :+
 
Don't have a dog now, but when we did growing up, we couldn't keep Mollie (English Springer Spaniel) out of the water! I guess that's good seeings that that breed is a water hunting dog! We used to have a couple of cattle, and she loved "swimming" in their water tank! EEEWWWWW! It was stinky and topped with algae, but she loved it!
Now, with three cats, they race us to the bathroom because they love playing in the sink with the water dribbling. Baby will get her whole head under the dribble and get it all down the back of her head, then shake and get it all over the mirror! Ambush and Jellibean also love to play in the tub, too (but only when it's dry)!
 
both my dogs HATE the water and act like they're being punished, BUT the weird thing is both of them are obedient enough to get in their own bath when told!

My golden is still afraid of all water, but likes to "chase" it as it comes out of the hose:p

The cats only swim when we throw them in. Just kidding, just kidding. We had a cat, Chester, who loved to lick the water around the bathtub drain. He tried to jump into the tub for a drink one night when I was taking a bath. I don't know how he did it, but he was in and out so fast, his feet didn't even get wet.
 
Since I have cats, the answer would be 'no'! But they sometimes like to play in water!

Before I was born, my dad had a cat who would swim: he showed me a picture of him once paddling in the water.
