I think I'd start with 4, primarily because it's a shorter workout. I LOVE both 7 and 8, but 4 is one of my all-time favorites, and its well under an hour long. Of course, you always have the option to skip a challenge and go straight to the cool down, too.
It took me a few times with each workout to find my zones, so don't feel bad if you have trouble figuring that out tonight. I've found that the 2nd time around with his workouts is usually always better than the first.
