DH wants an iPod for his birthday...

DH is finally committed (after 5 years!) and wants an iPod for his birthday at the end of April. He will, of course, get one!!! (Ssssshhhhhhh!!! Don't tell!!)

What should I engrave on it?? I don't know if I should put something personal on it, or specifically FROM me, or more aimed towards HIM and something that would make it HIS. Does that make sense? The difference between saying something like "I love you" or "Kurt's iPod" is what I mean...

Any suggestions?? Ack. I hate this kind of decision!!!!

I put "iPod therefore iPoor" on mine and boy can you spend the $$ fast on iTunes! I found the saying on this site:

For my husband's 40th, we (my kids - then 9 and 6) and I got him an ipod. We put something personal and special. My husband used to drum recreationally, and has always loved his music. We simply put, "You Rock our World" on his ipod.
DH loved it - the ipod, and that the saying integrates who he is with the people most important in his life.

Good luck in your decision - I know coming up with something was tough, but once I found the right thing, the decision was a piece of cake.

That's a great saying, Devoted!!! I'm sure he LOVES it.

I'm feeling like this is the year for engraved gifts- I got him a cribbage board for our anniversary and had that engraved, too- with some help from my dad, who suggested "I peg you as my Cutie" or something like that.

That doesn't work so well for an iPod, though.

The Christmas towels were much simpler- "His".
