Good morning fitness folks....

Yesterday was a rest day for me and I made it an active rest day. I walked only 17 minutes before the storms run me back in. I then did MTV Pilates Mix.

Today is circuit day. I'm doing a premix circuit, Weights and Step circuit from SB/SJP.

Have a good one!

Good morning fitness friends! Jane, you beat me to the post today! It sounds like you had a good rest day. How is the MTV Pilates Mix? I've heard good things, but I can never seem to find the time for pilates.

I did L&G followed by abs from PS back& bi. I did my abs on the long step. It does seem to pull in some different muscles and my abs do feel tighter after long step work. I'll let you know if I see any difference. Have a great day. Phyllis

Good morning Phyllis... yes you and I are definitely on the same schedule!:)

I really like MTV Pilates Mix and highly recommend it. It is a great core workout.

Good Morning Fit Chicks!

Today I'm going to do CC#4 on the treadmill and then some ab work.

Jane: Sounds like a fun workout today...enjoy!

Phyllis: L&G is such a great workout. I've got to try doing abs on my step.

Hello to all that follow....have a great day!

Goodmorning all. Phyllis, I know what you mean about pilates. I keep thinking I should try to fit some yoga or pilates into my schedule, but always reach for the cardio or weights.
Today is another weight day. I'm planning on the Noodle Arm WO (GS Back, Shoulders and Biceps) followed by Core Max 1.
Enjoy yourself today.

Good morning everybody!

I did PHH Thighs and Arms this morning.

Sure wish it would be already Friday x( .

I hope that everybody has a great workout or rest day
Kristine :)

Good Morning Fitties!!

This morning I did the same as Jane, Weights and Step circuit from sjp/sb and it WAS a blast !!

Tomorrow to get back to my OBPAD I will do legs but floorwork only since the circuit today did squats and lunges.

Judy, I forgot to mention that Jane & I are including a circuit workout each week, so each body part actually gets worked out twice a week. ;-)

Today's premix was FUN, I strongly recommend it to those who haven't tried it yet!:D

Hope everyone enjoys the day!

Good morning ladies

Enjoy the SJP premix Jane. They are quite fun!

Sounds like you did a good workout Phyllis. I have not tried working my abs that way...

Tammy...those CC workouts seem to work well for you...:)

Robin...I try for Yoga or Pilates once a week...sometimes it works...and sometimes not...:)..Have fun with the GS noodle arm WO

Good workout Kristine..yes friday would be nice...:)

Judy...I was bad, skipped the planks when I did S&H Chest & Back yesterday...you did great!

Kim...you are doing well with your workouts...how is your foot doind?

I am doing S&H Legs and a 5 mile run...

Have a great day...

Daily Check-in

Good morning! I did the Rhythmic Step Challenge last night. I did not have time to do it before work yesterday morning. I love the whole workout. The music is really fast though! After doing Cathe’s newer step workouts for several months, it took me a few minutes to get my feet moving that fast yesterday morning! Can I blame it on the hour we lost over the weekend? ;) Oh, I did the abs and planks from Power Hour after Rhythmic Step yesterday. I forgot to include that in yesterday’s check-in.

I broke in my Terminator DVD this morning and did my first workout from this one. I chose the Gauntlet this morning. I am planning to do IMAX Extreme tomorrow morning and the Viper Thursday morning (if I can move tomorrow and Thursday). I love the Gauntlet. It is a fun workout. I like it even better than Boot Camp. I did not think it was that hard at first. I got humbled. I am wiped out now. Terminators and genie hops and straddle taps in the same workout. Oh my!

I started my fitness journey on July 4, 2003. I will be celebrating my 3-year anniversary exactly 13 weeks from today. It is my goal to be 100 pounds below my top weight by then. That gives me 13 weeks to drop 25 pounds. At 35 percent body fat, I am still far enough from my goal that 1-2 pounds a week is realistic. I can do it! I will share my PictureTrail on the 4th of July no matter what.

Wendy, it does feel good to fit into a smaller size!

Gayle, I am glad you are enjoying your toned down rotation. I think my body will be able to handle more intensity when I get to my goal weight. For now, hauling around this extra weight is stressful enough.

Annette, I am praying for you. I have not been around long enough to know all the details, but God knows what you need. It appears that you lost your mother. I am so sorry.

Caitlin, welcome to the check-in. We need some evening people to wrap it up for us! I do not always have time to respond at night, but I read this thread before I go to bed. Congratulations on your weight loss so far.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

Good Morning All;

Just got in from taking my trio to school and after my breakfast I'm off to do some cardio MIC or Step Heat as I'm not in the mood for hi lo just this moment. Actually I'm still quite sleepy still.

I have a good soreness in my buttocks and I think I'll increase my weights when I do S&H Legs next time.

Here's hoping everyone has a wonderful day !

RE: Daily Check-in

Good morning,

Today was Kickmax, not one of my favs, but I have to try it sometimes. I did the low impact drills and the blast challenge, then the stretch and Allstep abs.

I bought new workout shoes a while ago and decided to pull them out this morning. I discovered I bought the wrong size! I am going to try to return them today, I really need shoes. Hopefully I will be good to go for tomorrow. I am so goofy sometimes.

Have a great day.

Good Morning everyone...

My rotation calls for the original IMAX which I don't have. I decided to work on my running instead of subbing in another IMAX so I will do another interval run today at the gym.

I am going to use the same basic structure as the one I did on friday but I am going to add on more intervals...I need to work out for about an hour...if I can't make it on the treadmill that long then I will move over to intervals on the eliptical if I have to...

Wish me luck!:)

Morning all!

This morning I did Legs&Glutes, and BootCamp Core premix.

Carole - I bought Eat to Live yesterday. I've been considering this for quite a while now, and think I'm finally ready to give it a go, although I will have to modify to suit my needs. I'll probably start it in earnest next week. Did you find there was a period of adjustment, where your workouts felt harder, and you had less energy? And if so, did it go away eventually? And did you modify your workouts to compensate for the adjustment?

Heather - A couple of years ago I did all three Terminator workouts on consecutive days, and it really fried me. I never tried it again :) I wish you all the best in shedding 25 pounds before July 4. On July 2, 2002 I started exercising again, and joined WW. It was 2 years after I'd had my first daughter and I'd gained a LOT of weight. I lost the weight and got into the best shape of my life. I've managed to, more or less, maintain my health over the last 4 years. So, we are both coming up on a great anniversary. Hm. Maybe this is the incentive I need to lose these last pounds I gained from having my second baby in September.

Wendy - have a great treadmill run!!

Have a great day!

>Great workout Sandra!! That is cool you got ETL! It is easy to modify but besides the way of eating, I found the info in this book great. I did go thru a bit of withdrawals from junk food. The only thing I suffered was in my long runs. Once I found a sports gel with protein in it, that helped and yes my body did adjust. I was doing P90X at the time and running 3 days a week, but I found no less energy in the weight workouts so no, those I did not modify....hope this helps...:)

Good morning everyone,

I typed a message yesterday, but apparently I didn't hit "post" afterwards as it was sitting on my screen this morning.:+

Yesterday I did Bootcamp twice . . . yes, twice! I can't believe it, but I'm actually enjoying the challenge of the August rotation.

Today is KPC + the floorwork from PLB.

Heather thanks for such an inspirational post. I had been feeling a little disappointed about not being closer to my goal. (I'll be 36 on Thursday, and I guess last year when I started this journey, I unrealistically thought I'd be at or within 20 of goal instead of within 40 by my birthday.)

Annette, you remain in my thoughts and prayers.

Enjoy your workouts or rest days everyone!
Pamela

Good morning Ladies, Sounds like everybody has good workouts planned for today! I just finished with my workout for the day. Today was Kickmax W/out leg drill, 1.5 mile interval run(about 11 min) and a mishmosh of L&G. My legs are tired }( . Now I have to find the strength to pack up DD and go grocery shopping. On a high note my new P90x program was just delivered by my main man the UPS guy. What alot of material to read through, but I am ready to break through the plataeu I'm on. Hope you all have a wonderful day:)
